Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

I can't think of anything negative to say about this exceptional park. Beautiful setting surrounded by woods. Wonderful for dogs. Large field for our Lab to exercise, play fetch, and enjoy the other dogs. Also walking trails. Very attentive owners and staff. Very clean, well maintained grounds. We stayed 5 nights and hated to leave. Felt like home away from home. No cable but many of the sites have south exposure for satellite use. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coyote Run RV Park, Connell, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Neat park. Grass between sites. Not much shade. Good for Dish use. Rural setting but next to highway on ramp so traffic noise. Worked fine for one night while traveling. We camped at Coyote Run RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Butte Valley RV Park, Dorris, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Small rustic CG, felt like being in a park. Gravel with lots of grass. All hookups worked. Dorris very rural, small town. Very nice elderly owner. They are trying to sell. No problem letting our dog off leash to play ball and exercise as we were the only ones there besides a few permanents that were at end of park. Worked well for one night of travel. We camped at Butte Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven), Yreka, California

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We love this little park, and have stayed several times. It is only a couple hours from home so we stop here when heading south to clean up RV, dump, etc. before having to put in storage at home. Quiet as away from the freeway a bit. Has a very homey feel to it. Management very friendly and helpful and the popcorn delivered to your RV is a nice touch. Lots of trees which is nice. Can be hot but does cause a bit of challenge for slide outs, awnings and satellite. With that said, we have always managed it all and with a site where we didn't have to unhook either. There is also a new Casino just minutes away and they offer a shuttle if you don't want to unhook. We haven't tried it yet but heard restaurant was good. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Phoenix RV Park, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park may not in the best area of town but the park itself is a jewel. Lovely landscaping all around the park. Very clean. Lots of full timers but all rigs very good conditions (mostly newer) and neat around the outsides. 3 nice dog parks for our lab to get some exercise and enjoy company of other dogs. We will definitely return. Our daughter lives in Salem and it took us a few trips to try this park but are really glad we finally did. We camped at Phoenix RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hi-Way Haven RV Park, Sutherlin, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One night stop, and fine for that. Spaces close and gravel. Lots of full timers but park fairly neat. Nice big dog run. Far enough from the Freeway that noise wasn't an issue. We camped at Hi-Way Haven RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rio Chama RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We had a lovely site right on the river and since we were early in the season, pretty much to ourselves. Guess it does get pretty busy in the summer. Park staff extremely helpful and friendly. Park well maintained. Not all sites would be good for satellite cube, but ours was fine. Good AT&T and Wi-Fi. Would definitely return. We camped at Rio Chama RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were pleasantly surprised at what a nice little park this is. Very nice and accommodating owner. Small park with easy in and out of sites. Quiet. AT&T, Wi-Fi and satellite cube worked well. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Cottonwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Eagle Soaring RV Park, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Only two parks in Steamboat to choose from. This one is better than the KOA in town. Very nice setting in a meadow out of town about 6 miles. I only went into restrooms because that is where the washer and dryer are. They definitely needed a little TLC. Glad I had our own facilities. Definitely too pricey but again, not much choice. Definitely worked for us for a few nights while passing through the area. We camped at Eagle Soaring RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We thought this campground had a nice "park like" feel to it. Nothing fancy but pleasant enough. Having a Labrador puppy with us, really appreciated the Doggie Playground so our "baby" could run after long day on the road. Sites are well away from the road and quiet. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Red Mountain RV Park, Kremmling, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I use RV Park Reviews a lot, but admit I don't write too many reviews. I am doing so for this park because of the negative remarks from the last few reviews. Our 2 night stay was more than satisfactory. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. There were several places to walk the dog. One area was beyond their fence but one side was on a road hardly used. I walked our dog there numerous times and never had to move for a vehicle, or be concerned for our safety. There is a large number of workers in the park but only one started up his truck before 6am and did not leave it running. It is pretty hard to avoid parks without "permanent" residents anymore, but I think this park does a good job of accommodating their needs with those "passing through." Bottom line, glad we ignored the negative remarks and took a chance on Red Mountain. Our stay was fine and we would return. We camped at Red Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

On a scale of 1-10 this park is a 15. Every RVer should experience a stay here at least once. It is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The surrounding area is gorgeous. For a park this nice, the rate is reasonable. We have paid much more for a lot less. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here a couple of years ago while passing through Missoula so when we decided to return for a couple of weeks, we knew this was the park to stay at. It was as good as we remembered. Very nicely landscaped with LOTS of flower beds. Sites are extra wide with trees so there is a real feel of spaciousness and privacy compared to most parks. All parks should be as nice. We paid a weekly rate of $195.00. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Boardman Marina Park, Boardman, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night while traveling. Were provided a long enough site not to have to unhook. The nicer (more trees) sites seem to be taken by long term workers. There was no problem with those "living" there as mentioned and in fact the park was very quiet. They have a lovely, well maintained, clubhouse with a large, inviting indoor swimming pool. The owners are a very friendly and helpful couple. We would not hesitate to stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Crook County RV Park, Prineville, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped for one night while traveling, and were provided a long enough pull through not to have to unhook. Pleasant enough with lawn and trees between sites. Lots of long tenancy's but not a problem. This park is adjacent to the fairgrounds and would probably be noisy when events going on but was quiet while we were there. We camped at Crook County RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
