Klint Safford Memorial RV Park (The Iron River RV Park), Iron River, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Super RV park. Have stayed here many times when in the area. Park is a gem - clean, well maintained and beautiful. Could not have asked for more. Full hookup and water/electric on others with Wifi and cable tv. Did not give it a 10 due to noise of ATV trail behind park and users have not regard to noise. Will stay here again when in area. We camped at Klint Safford Memorial RV Park (The Iron River RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Royal Oaks RV Park, Bemidji, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here while touring MN. Gem in the woods so to speak. Campground was close to everything in Bemidgi and nearby. Park is super maintained/clean and owners are very helpful. Site was a back-in, level and plenty of room for tow vehicle. A little noise from major highway but not enough to not stay here. Sites were full service with wifi reception being good. Really enjoyed being here-nice park and would encourage others to check it out when in area. Will sure as heck stay here again. We camped at Royal Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Icelandic State Park, Cavalier, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here while visiting Winnipeg Canada - gem in the woods so to speak. Park was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Sites were all pull-thru with electric and water (50 ft hose is best) in an arc right on paved roads- no sewer but dump station was excellent and easy to use. Stayed in North Loop with sites being very level and roomy for our MH. Super quiet during the week and weekend use was fuller but not as noisy as one would expect with families. No wifi but there was access at heritage center at parks entrance. Will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Icelandic State Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Daer Landing and Recreation Area, Pembina, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Planned on staying here when traveling to Winnipeg Canada. Checked it out and did NOT stay. Campground was not what we expected. Sites were a combination of gravel/grass sites that were not maintained. Campground was a mess - would not recommend this park to anyone though its close to Canada. Gave it a 3 because close to Canada. We camped at Fort Daer Landing and Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Homewood RV Park, Homewood, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Traveling home from southern vacation and found this smaller RV Park jewel just off I35. Can't say anything negative about park from the owners to the pull-thru sites (gravel) with full hookups. Everything we needed for our overnight stay and even longer if we chose. Young owners were very pleasant and even offered to go to the nearest town to get a part for us as he was heading there for a part for an other RV'r. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate and probably the best we've been in. Park is extremely well maintained, clean, quiet just the right fit. Will stay here again when traveling thru the area. We camped at Homewood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Bob's RV Park, Lawton, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here a week for military reunion. RV park is right of I44 and very close to Lawton/Fort Sill and area activities which is why we camped there. Actual RV sites were fine with concrete level pads, decent space between sites however no shade or trees in park, with water pressure and electricity being very good. Park amenities beyond actual sites sucked. Owners/managers were never around - only contact was a phone number. Wife used free laundry twice and trash was still there 4 days later and the rec room had bugs on floor the entire time. Checked washrooms/showers and would never use them. Problem with park is that NO maintenance/cleaning was ever done to buildings when we were there. Owners/managers seem to have no interest in park other than your money. Will only stay again because closeness to Fort Sill. We camped at Buffalo Bob's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Penmarallter Campsite, Two Harbors, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

An older park that is very neat and clean - overall well kept. Wifi is sketchy and works slow at times. Were not given a choice of sites and sites were not very level but with some effort we got motorhome setup ok. Campgroud is very close to HWY 61 and traffice noise can be annoying at times. Campground itself is very quiet and relaxing wih no playground available. Most sites are water and electric only but with dump station available. Enjoyed stay and would stay here again. We camped at Penmarallter Campsite in a Motorhome.

Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort, Hinckley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with the RV park and its amenities, casino, and staff. Somethings have changed however: More and more golf carts running around at all times. But most annoying is the dog traffic - owners either leave them unattended in RVs or let them poop anywhere, and owners don't pickup after them. Talked to RV park staff and they have a decent pet policy but don't seem very interested in enforcing it. Will stay again soon and hope for a site with NO animals not being taken care of nearby. A 7 rating because of dogs, their owners, and lack of policy enforcement. We camped at Grand Casino Hinckley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ho-Chunk Casino Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for three nights on our way to Italian Festival in Milwaukee. Like other reviews you have to check into hotel desk which is some distance away. Was quoted a $31 price but when all taxes ($5.00 tribal tax ???) and other normal taxes it was $40 - normal but for tribal tax. Sites themselves were clean, mostly level and utilities were full service and worked well. Each site has a new fire pit and table. WIFI did not exist at any site in RV park - only in washroom/shower building. No cable TV but dish TV and digital worked fined with no obstructions. Park is relatively quiet and close to all WI Dells attractions. Would have rated it a 9.5 if WIFI worked and check in process was better. We camped at Ho-Chunk Casino Campground in a Motorhome.

City of Houghton RV Park, Houghton, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Not much to say except the only place to stay in the area. Facilities are excellent with full hookups at each site and WI-FI is excellent. Recommend reservations at this park as it seems to be full all the time. Lots to do in the area as well - have stayed here before and will stay here again. We camped at City of Houghton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Village RV Park, Ishpeming, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

First time stay at park - looked last year, but not exactly what we expected. This year grass has grown and park looks better. Sites are mostly gravel and basically level. We stayed during rainy weather so lots of dirt tracked into RV. Stayed here because it appears to be the only (big rig) park in the area. Overall, a decent park with helpful staff and relatively close to Marquette. Six rating was because of WI-FI - asked to be close to office because we had bills to pay and needed a good connection - poor at best. May stay again if in area. We camped at Country Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park but overrated to say the least. We were mislead as to park amenities and were just assigned a site. Would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to look at other sites in the campground: as we later found sites that were better to our likings. A huge park that needs work done on each camping site: grass was in need of mowing/trimming and huge gopher hole on site was not appreciated. Once given another site things improved: WiFi and electricity at site was sporatic. On the plus side this park is close to everything you want to do in the area. Bridge view/lake view sites are packed like sardines: hope you like your neighbors. Will look for another place next time we are in the area. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Little River Casino Resort, Manistee, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here during our fall trip. Super RV park with level concrete pads on all sites. Variety of sites available from full service sites to water/electric sites. A dump station is also available. Park is clean and well maintained with clean showers, laundry and bathrooms on site. Staff is friendly and helpful at all times with casino shuttle on call 24hrs. Overall one of the most enjoyable parks we have been in. WiFi was adequate for all our needs. Will definitely stay longer when in area again. Don't pass this park up. Mohican North Star RV Park, Bowler, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here a couple of years ago: no changes or improvements in the RV park. Seems not to be a priority with casino management. Sites are side by side and not level (pull through sites) and are either gravel or gravel. No showers, restrooms or WiFi available in thenRV park. On the plus side, this park is very quiet, however a little out of the way. Will stay only when passing through if in the area. We camped at Mohican North Star RV Park in a Motorhome.

Island Resort Casino RV Park, Harris, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to either stop over and stay a few days. Park is away from noise and hustle of casino but you can either walk of call their shuttle. Sites as a little tight to get into with relatively sharp turns and sites are two to a lane and are front to back. Showers are clean and excellent. Negatives would be no sewer hookup, no Wi-Fi at site, TV reception is weak at best and dump station needs plenty of work/updating. We camped at Island Resort Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
