Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved a space in their newer section and loved it. Backed in next to a field. Lots of space in this area. Close to Glacier, hungry Horse, and Whitefish. It’s actually Kalispell, so you have everything you need to spend a week or two (Costco). We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park and town. The young couple who manage it do a fantastic job. Only downside was we paid to back in next to the creek, which really isn’t a creek. Lots of other sites at reasonable prices. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, the dam, and sporting goods. One of our all time favorite places! We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Lake RV Resort, Naples, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We were in very tight wooded site, but it worked for us. Some of the sites do not have sewer, so dump before parking. The young guy who runs the place is great — plus he had a great sense of humor. No problem with the trains. Great location to go to Sandpoint or over the border into Canada. We camped at Blue Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

No sewer, so dump before you park. Lots of trees and the setting is beautiful. Part Koa and part Thousand Trails. Super friendly staff and the roads are easy to navigate, they do charge to have a package delivered, We camped at Newport / Little Diamond Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old RV Park that isn’t big rig friendly. We are 38 ft long and could barely make it into our space. Neighbors had to bring their awnings in and move vehicles for us. The office staff was not friendly and they will not answer their phones. Check in time is late and they stick to it. We will stay in Coeur d’Alene next time. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

If you are in the area over the 4th of July, or for the boat races, make sure you have a reservation for this park. It fills up fast. Easy access to the water, great place for your dogs to walk, and close to town(s). We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park, Arco, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Don't let this one fool you! Just because it's in Arco, you should call for a reservation because this park fills up quickly. We were lucky enough to get the last space during an ATV rally (30 amp). Nice park that is easy to get in and out of. If you want 50 amp service, make sure you request it when you make a reservation. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Drive east to the ERB-1 site and if you have a second day (and a high clearance vehicle), drive to Mackay for their mine tour.

Cowboy RV Park, Pocatello, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Bring extra sewer hoses and make a reservation! As stated, the sites are connected to one another which requires extra sewer hose. The lawn is dead, roads are tight, and they fill up quickly. If you are a large rig make sure you call ahead for one of their pull-thru sites. There is no sign showing where to turn once you get off the freeway. Look for 'Barton' street and you will go right to the place. The sites are not level so be prepared to wiggle around to try and get your rig leveled out. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Casper KOA, Bar Nunn, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is a gravel lot with a few trees and weeds. It's in a great location and the office is very friendly. WiFi is great until the campground gets full. We stayed here a few days and would stay here again. You do hear the freeway/road noise at night. We camped at Casper KOA in a Motorhome.

Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort & Cabins, Spearfish, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff checking us in was wonderful. Large level sites. Beautiful scenery. Extra large clean pool. WiFi was down the entire time we were there. Small store with a great gift shop. Dog area was good. Tennis courts and basketball area. There isn't any grass, it's basically weeds and dirt. Very close to Deadwood and Sturgis. Big rigs will love this park. If they had grassy sites, it would be a 10. We camped at Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Miles City KOA, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a one night stay campground; not one of the best KOA's. The office staff was unfriendly and curt. Yes, the park has trees and that is the best part of the park. Sites were un-level. They do offer a wide variety of cable channels, and their wi-fi was good. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Motorhome.

Bozeman Hot Springs Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this RV park...perfect location in Bozeman. Owners/office are very friendly. The park is very clean and orderly. It is a bit old and the pull throughs are two vehicles to a slot, but the park is being worked on so hopefully, they put in single pull throughs. Call for a reservation if you want to be the first vehicle in one of these double pull throughs. Eight miles from downtown Bozeman, about four from the college...and 30 to Big Sky. Wireless was okay...the only downside was the cable. Just use your antenna and that problem is fixed. Adjacent to the hot springs...bonus. Dog and kid friendly! We camped at Bozeman Hot Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Wonderful RV park in Gardiner. Very clean. Wi-Fi worked all of the time. Office is very friendly and they have a great selection of gifts that are high quality. Very dog friendly. Wide sites. Quiet environment. Elk surround the park in the evenings. We will definitely be back! We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coachland RV Park, Truckee, California

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park...One worthy of visiting over and over again. We tried to make a reservation and couldn't reach anyone at Coachland (before 5:00). When I tried again, they finally answered and I was told they had nothing the next day. The next morning our phone rang and a pleasant voice informed us she had received our message from their answering service and that she definitely had a spot for us. Confusing, but it worked out for us. We will be returning to this beautiful spot. The city of Truckee has an art.farmers market on Thursday evenings, music, wine, and beer. Tahoe City Arts Festival was the next day...tons of things to do in this area. The RV park is clean, easy to get in and out of. You are parked back to back with another unit, but you still have your own grass area/table. Wi-Fi and cable are provided. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.
