Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, not 1000 Trails signature campground. Very aged, horrible roads, sites are uneven. Swarms of bees and the river is a trickle. No pool or any activities for the kids.

No sewer connections at the site, one dump station. Many of the utility boxes broken.

We left early. I would skip until they can put some money into this one. We camped at Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Nicolaus, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

First impressions: quieter than I thought it would be. Arrived on Thursday and was lucky to get a perfect spot. Kids enjoyed the lake (fishing, paddle boating and swimming). Obviously was an older campground that is being improved. No pool, but can swim in lake. No sewer hookups where we parked. Not really a destination, but a pass through, unless you live in Sacramento. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

South Jetty RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails), Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

South Jetty - this place is a destination stop for those wanting to ride dune buggies on the beach. Just be prepared for the noise. If you know about it, it's not that bad. Every site is shaded with towering pines. Sewer sites are taken quickly on weekend. Get here early for prime spots. Our site was quiet and beautiful. Kids loved the heated pool. Not walkable to beach, but the beach is stunning and not crowded. We camped at South Jetty RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails) in a Motorhome.
