Wildwood Golf and RV Resort, Crawfordville, Florida
Date of Stay:
September, 2018 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
This park is relatively new, beside a golf course. If you stay there the greens fees are free, you only need to pay for the cart. Some of the sites are concrete pads with a grill and patio chairs included, these sites cost more. Our rate is the average of two nights at Passport America and one night at their regular rate of $45. Our site was back in, level gravel and we were able to get satellite reception even though they have cable TV. The wifi worked well and ATT cell service wasn't very strong. They are currently building a bath house and laundry room. At this time there is no pool or pool access as their website indicates. We camped at Wildwood Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

I-10 Kampground, Theodore, Alabama
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
We called 2 hours ahead to ensure a long enough pull thru site for our rig and tow. When we arrived she assigned us a site that already had a rig in it, then gave us a site in the very back with all of the permanent residents, there are a lot of them. Our neighbors for the evening were cussing and yelling, not a good welcome. The site was grass, fairly level, the wifi only worked in the front sites (which we were promised), ATT good, close to the interstate. The rate quoted indicated a Good Sam discount but she doubled the sales tax so it equaled $30, therefore no discount. We would not stay there again. We camped at I-10 Kampground in a Motorhome.

Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49, Marthaville, Louisiana
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$19.00
Overall Rating:
The sites were pull thru, mostly level, dirt/with grass on the edges. ATT worked well, easy on/off the interstate. We were a little upset that we had a view of the lake and the wifi was working well until they parked a rig right beside us, which blocked our view and the wifi signal, so no more wifi for the rest of the stay. There are 17 pull thru overnight sites, we were the only rig there until the second rig showed up to park right next to us so we didn't leave happy. We camped at Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49 in a Motorhome.

Lazy L RV Park, Sherman, Texas
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$31.00
Overall Rating:
Site was level, ATT, utilities and satellite was fine. The pool was shaded by trees so we couldn't get any sun and the water was cold. We saw kids enjoying it though. We were surprised that we couldn't get any local TV channels. We thought we were close enough to Dallas to pick up theirs, but couldn't. The park was a little difficult to get to because of the 75 freeway and its exits, but we managed. We camped at Lazy L RV Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$36.00
Overall Rating:
Site was level, ATT, satellite and utilities worked well. WiFi was at site but was only useful in the morning. When the park filled up every night, the WiFi was unusable, wouldn't load. The pool was nice, even though a bit warm. The sites were very close together, we had to move our picnic table so the rig next door could extend their slide, which was over our patio. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park), Cedar City, Utah
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
The gravel sites were level, good water pressure, clean park and very pleasant staff. Good place to stay to tour the National Parks. The wifi was intermittent and slow, so don't count on it. Several sites were able to receive a satellite signal. The dog park was closed for the week that we were there for repairs but never saw anyone repairing it. The restrooms are older but clean. The men's only had one stall since the handicap one was out of order. We camped at Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Sunnyside Acres MHC & RV Park, Idaho Falls, Idaho
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$39.00
Overall Rating:
The RV park is part of a permanent mobile home park. Of the approximately 24 sites, only about 1/2 of them were available for over night stays. The rest were permanent residents. We were lucky to get a site as we called twice and the second time the weekend staff decided to check the board. There were several sites available even when the sign on the door said "Full". The regular manager was very helpful. The site was paved and pretty level. ATT worked well plus the EWS was fine but the wifi was slow. We camped at Sunnyside Acres MHC & RV Park in a Motorhome.
The city of Idaho Falls was an interesting place to explore, especially the falls in the middle of town.

Henrys Lake State Park, Island Park, Idaho
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$34.00
Overall Rating:
This is a beautiful area with a boat ramp. Only a few sites have sewer, all of the sites were very roomy and paved but not always level. Water & electric was OK with good ATT service and open for a satellite. The work campers would even clean the aluminum picnic tables before the next camper! Please note the nightly rate does not include the $10 reservation fee (state park) or taxes, PLUS there is an additional $5 daily fee for the tow vehicle-we didn't know that until we checked in. It would have been good to know ahead of time as it changes the rate. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Buffalo Crossing RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$58.00
Overall Rating:
This park borders the west side of Yellowstone. The sites are gravel, level, included a picnic table and all hook ups OK. The wifi was a little slow but worked 99% of the time, ATT was good in the area. The sites are a little narrow but still plenty of room for slides and tow vehicle, perfect for our needs of visiting Yellowstone. You are within walking distance of the town for shopping or restaurants. The park is owned by IMAX, same location - be sure to check out their gift shop. We camped at Buffalo Crossing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$59.00
Overall Rating:
A very pretty treed park but the sites were unlevel, all pull thru sites and not too close together. Since you're in the middle of the National Park, there is no ATT service, satellite or air TV and no radio stations within the area. There is WiFi at the General Store and the Restaurant. Beautiful areas and animals to see. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:
It is a large, gravel campground easy on/off of I-80. The office staff was very helpful and pleasant, good satellite, ATT. We were disappointed with the very poor WiFi, it would connect but nothing would load. The pull thru site was level. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

McGreer Camper Park, Big Springs, Nebraska
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$22.00
Overall Rating:
The grassy sites were level with a picnic table. They are buddy sites, but it wasn't crowded so we didn't share with another rig. It is a working farm with very helpful owners. The WiFi was very good as well as ATT service. Convenient on/off of I-80. Great for an overnight stop, we would definitely stay there again. We camped at McGreer Camper Park in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$20.00
Overall Rating:
The campground was fine for an overnight visit, it wasn't good when it rained, very muddy. The owner was helpful but not always there during office hours. A lot of permanent residents, but not a problem. The pull through sites were long, pretty level with full hook up. ATT kind of spotty and wifi was only at the office but worked just fine. We camped at Spring Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$20.00
Overall Rating:
Convenient from I-75, we made a reservation and they met us at check in so we could go directly to the site then check in. Nice pool and hot tub to relax in after a day of driving. Wifi and ATT worked well, sites pretty level and utilities fine. We were under trees so no sat but ok for one night. We'll return again when in the area and we used Passport America. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Level sites, good wifi, 50 amp service, cable TV and ATT service. The long, pull thru sites are spacious and very convenient to I-81, quiet and well lit at night. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.
