Harvest Moon RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off I-75. Nice clean pull through sites. Owner is always friendly and offers free bags of popcorn after a long day of travel or play. All utilities available. The WiFi was good but slow during high evening use. Sites are gravel but in excellent shape. Clean picnic table was provided. We camped at Harvest Moon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Volunteer Park Family Campground, Heiskell, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is an easy access off I-75. It makes a great quiet spot for several nights. Spaces are short; plan on unhooking your tow. A subtantial number of sites are long term, but we have stayed twice with no problems. Site was pull through concrete pad with water, sewer, 50amp, and cable. The park is Passport America, so you can save 50% if you're a member. The office was clean and the staff friendly. We camped at Volunteer Park Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Tobesofkey Arrowhead Campground, Lizella, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A great county park. Asphalt/concrete pads are narrow but sites are spread out nice. About 8 mile off I-75 but you are located on a nice lake. Pull throughs and lake front backins available. Restrooms and laundry are very nice. Quiet and dark, but in late March we had the park to ourselves and 5-6 campers. For summer there is a beach, but late March was mainly fishermen and a few snowbirds. A nice rural area with open sites and a few small trees. We camped at Lake Tobesofkey Arrowhead Campground in a Motorhome.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A great snowbird park plus new management. Should be opening the pool this year. Excellent site spacing, concrete pads, and all the utilities. Located in a small Florida town, with limited but adequate access to essentials. Sites are laid out so that you can bike or walk 1/2 mile just circling the park once. Quiet and well lighted at night, plus it is a gated community. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Indian Pass Campground, Port St. Joe, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Check rates, ours was the prime A11 site overlooking the bay. Listed at $42, but we paid $33. Just large enough for our 35' Class A. Sand and gravel lots. Watched dolphins and pelicans from our window everyday. A fishing camp with old Florida style. Located at the dock to St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge and less than thirty miles to St. George, St. Joseph beaches and Apalachicola sites. We camped at Indian Pass Campground in a Motorhome.

Falling Waters State Park, Chipley, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, small state park. A few lots big enough for 35' Class A. Sites rather close together. Free air TV was fair. A good park to use as a base for Eden Gardens, Falling Water, Ponce de Leon Spring, and Florida Caverns. We camped at Falling Waters State Park in a Motorhome.

Whitetail Ridge COE, LaGrange, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Fantastic COE park. Combination concrete, asphalt, stone pads which are level. Sites spaced out 50-200' apart. Excellent park just to get away from people. Few trails but lots of good roads and shallow clay sand beaches. All lots are wooded with minimal lights for great dark nights. Restrooms far from sites. We camped at Whitetail Ridge COE in a Motorhome.

Noccalula Falls Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice wooded city run park within walking distance of the falls. Lots are setup in twos with lots sharing an access drive so they are rather close together. All lots appeared in good condition and level. Wild turkeys walked through our lot. The general area is somewhat run down but the park seemed secure and a great place to stay. We camped at Noccalula Falls Campground in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Not the best but as good as Nashville has to offer. Sits between KOA and Jellystone and slightly lower price. Accommodations okay for a class A but more suited to smaller rigs. Most sites at $34 are 30 amp. Close to four lane but road noise not too bad. Grayline tours is next door and beepers on buses backing up are annoying in the morning and late evening hours. Would stay again during winter as local RV parks are limited. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

A nice Class A rig park with basic setup and easy access. Management was friendly, and all utilities worked (no cable). Rigs are close but has room for slides. Some road noise from interstate. Not a lot of choices in the Louisville area. We camped at Grandma's RV Camping in a Motorhome.
