This is a new park so the trees are not mature enough to provide shade. (It can get hot in Oroville during the summer.) The sites are wide and level concrete slabs. The site length varies depending on the specific location. There is lush green turf between sites with underground irrigation - no wet picnic tables or water overspray on vehicles. The pet area is fenced and covered with wood chips. The restrooms are spotlessly clean. The check-in staff is very helpful and friendly. It is walking distance to the casino, but a shuttle is available. If you are coming from the west, you will see a big sign for the RV park, but don't turn there because you will end up at a different park. Wait until you see the casino parking lot, then turn there and head towards the gas station and store. We camped at Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
We came here for the annual car show in Oroville. The Feather Falls casino is a short drive away just south of Oroville. Chico is close by.

We LOVE this park. Stayed here almost three months (April - June). There were three miniature horses in the corral and lots of cats roaming around. The sites are level gravel. Each site accommodates two RVs in tandem. The hook-ups are in the wide grassy areas between each row. We had to run our lines under the trailer to reach the water, electricity and sewer. Lots of wide open spaces to walk the dog. The owner is very helpful and nice; however she is not always onsite so you must call before arrival. She then comes to the park and takes you to your site in her golf cart. The park is not a resort so don't expect a lot of amenities. WiFi worked fine for us. Cable TV offers lots of channels. Laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers, but it is also used by people from town. We enjoyed this park more than most because it is so homey and comfortable. The permanent residents treat you like an old friend. We camped at Triple J RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Walking distance to Meridy's restaurant. Good food at very reasonable prices. Can also walk to the Fossil Creek gas station/store/restaurant and hotel. I recommend a visit to the Oil Patch Museum, which is a short walk away. It is open during summer months and run by the city. There you will learn about the history of oil in Russell. The grocery store is about one mile north on main highway.

Only one negative: the host was rude and unprofessional. There is no reason to bark at customers before they check in. However, the reservation person was very nice and helpful.
Overall, this is a very clean and neat park. The sites have large and wide concrete pads. Very level. Beautiful plush green lawns, but no trees at the sites. No cable TV, but we were able to get many air channels. Great location near downtown Napa and the Owbow Public Market.
Caution: the entrance is very easy to miss and can be tight for large rigs. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
We recommend the Oxbow Public Market. Lot of high quality food, but pricey.
The Uptown Theater is a great venue for shows and concerts.
