Ely KOA, Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I called while on the road at around two P.M. reserving for two nights. We wanted to take our grandson on a tour through the caverns at Great Basin National Park. After arriving at about four p.m. we checked on the internet to reserve tour tickets only to find that absolutely none were available. I went immediately to the office to cancel the second night---only to be told that it would be impossible due to their cancellation policy. I might add that we actually got the last space available for the first night, so they were clearly not hurting for campers. I will never stay here again, and it will definitely color my thoughts about other KOAs. We camped at Ely KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Los Banos West / I-5 KOA , Santa Nella, California

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very mediocre park, a disgrace to the KOA name. Can you imagine winter time, around forty degrees, and the bathrooms/showers weren't heated? In fact, they kept propping the bathroom doors open. Only stay here if you are desperate!. We camped at Los Banos West / I-5 KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Utilities near center of pullthrough. Not enough room then for tow vehicle.
