Square Dance Center and Campground, Lolo, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Oldie but goodie...We have been here three times and love it. It is like a forest service campground with lots of trees, pine needles and the sites are hither and yon tucked into the trees. It is easy to navigate around. Not every site has sewer. Good idea to make a reservation because they fill up as it becomes more popular. The other RV parks in the Missoula area are much more expensive. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

Snake River RV Park & Campground, Idaho Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is misnamed. It is beside the Snake River (I think) but there is zero access. You have to drive to it about 1/2 mile. There is a nice river walk and views to see the falls when you get there. We tried to walk to the river alongside the road but we couldn't safely do it. If you drive, there is no RV parking down by the river walk, just car parking that we could see. Far too expensive for this old KOA. We camped at Snake River RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Wright's Beach Camp RV Park, Penticton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times. Over the past few years the campground has improved. The park has many workers taking care of it, there are little flower beds around, the new trees in the newer section are growing bigger for shade. We keep going back year after year due to having family in the area. I am surprised that there are so many complaints about the managers/staff of nearly all the RV parks in Penticton. Canadians are all so friendly. We camped at Wright's Beach Camp RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart is close by and many grocery and drug stores in town, along main street. There are two lakes: Skaha and Okanagan. Both water areas are beautiful. Great little town to visit.

Wolf Lodge Campground, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

As everyone said before, the entrance is difficult, the noise from the highway very loud. I would give them a 10 if they moved away from the highway. Way over priced for the park. BTW, I wonder if it is an old KOA. We camped at Wolf Lodge Campground in a Motorhome.

City of Bridgeport - Marina Park, Bridgeport, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Bathrooms are shared with the public park, but are locked at night and you have a code. They are very old, but man they work great, good hot water and good pressure (pay 50 cents for a shower) Nice, helpful host, beautiful views of the river, I don't know where the previous reviewer was parked that they couldn't see the water. We will return. Online reservations available now...Grass covered the area: quiet and lovely. We camped at City of Bridgeport - Marina Park in a Motorhome.

Grande Hot Springs Resort, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Come in off of exit 265 otherwise you will be on gravel. The only reason to not give it a "10" is the gravel drive. This nice RV park is run by young REI dressed (athletic clothes) people who are friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive. There are lots of busy staff people. The people next to us had a problem with bugs and the staff helped them move to another site. How kind and helpful of them. This RV park is not associated with the nearby Hot Lake hotel. We will return and plan and extra day or two. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We will always return to stay here if near by. My only new comments to review readers: there are trees and then there are no trees. In the heat you might like the very shady area. But you may have to forgo your satellite. The new section is not shady at all. Plus it is a long walk to the 8 bathrooms/showers. I believe they need a set of showers and toilets in the rear of the park. Tengo internet which is their internet source is terrible. Bring your own hotspot. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Motorhome.

Valley View RV Park, Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here frequently after the hotel sold their RV park to the Holiday Inn. This RV park has many permanents that are all back in. We reserved and noticed it nearly filled up in the mid afternoon. Good for what you need, a spot to sleep between the big cities. Road noise, used my fans. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bear Valley Rv & Campground Resort, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Store was cute with lots of gift/food items. Gravel, sites are not on top of each other. Gas station on premises but not in your face when camping. Good central location to all the sites near by, and also right on the Hwy we take to get over the hills from I-15 in an RV. (The other highways may be too curvy for our long load. I thought this RV park looked better than those in Panguitch but I did not stay in those. The management will work with you if you need to make changes in your reservation...They have a 7 night cancellation policy. We will go back... Callville Bay RV Park, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Surprised to find any services at this old marina. The lake has gone down and the boat ramp has been moved several times. It is amazing to see what adaptations the marina has made for boaters. There are even small golf cart shuttles back and forth to your car. The campground is a trailer park with 100? park models and 5 sites that are empty and can be used by RVers. Some are pull thru. The trailer park is old and most are used for winter time snowbirds. This is a good place to stay but only if you have a boat. Las Vegas is the nearest town. There is a small store here but doubt it carries much. We camped at Callville Bay RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thousand Lakes RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

WIFI is horrible and cell service is scant, so really needed a good WIFI. I agree with previous reviewers that bathrooms and laundry need to be updated. The beef I have is that the back row of back ins are not angled properly and it is difficult to get into without help (you are backing in on your blind side.) Easy to fix. I didn't feel welcomed by the staff, just looked at with wide eyes like we were interrupting. Disappointed in not finding national park info at check in. If we return to this area will try a different RV park. We camped at Thousand Lakes RV Park in a Motorhome.

fantastic time as always. The area is a little difficult to get into due to trees, but you are thankful for the trees in the heat. Great location. Guess what: no rules posted, no rules given out at check in! will return again and again. We camped at Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Saddle West Hotel Casino & RV Park, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We should have phoned ahead for a spot, then we wouldn't have to park and go to the front desk. It seems as if (we didn't try it) you could pull up and call for a site. There is a phone near the bathrooms indicating that. My only complaint is that the bathrooms face south away from the park, I had to walk thru a campsite to get to them. The laundry faces into the park... We camped at Saddle West Hotel Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wagons West RV Park, Fillmore, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very large vacant lot with many, many long pulls thrus. It was nearly empty and I think it gets full during ATV times, as the long sites look like they could hold a string of vehicles. There was nobody at the office, but another RVer helped us pick a spot. Everything worked but was very old. Walking into town was very interesting as there are some interesting characters around, one with I am an Irascible Apostate sign on his property. We camped at Wagons West RV Park in a Motorhome.

One store in town and a pharmacy, about a half mile south on the main drag. Town is named after Millard Fillmore and was the first capitol of the Utah Territory.
