99 RV Park, Vancouver, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We had planned on spending the month, but due to a family emergency we had to leave early. This park is very convenient to Portland and Vancouver visiting. Our site was asphalt and pea gravel. Just fine for our purposes. The laundry room was very reasonable and neat. Bathrooms were well maintained. Staff and management were great as well as understanding of our situation. As stated previously the I-5, I-205 and 99 noise was an issue but only for a day or two. After that we hardly noticed. Park residents were very friendly. We camped at 99 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arena RV Park, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight. Management was awesome. Apparently the previous management did not keep the park up. It now looks great flowers and greenery everywhere. They made accommodations for us since there were no pull thru's and we really wanted to stay hooked up and we still had full hookups. We camped at Arena RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed overnight. The sites were level and pull-through. Just the basics. Cable TV worked well and WiFi was actually better than most fancy parks we've been in. We camped at Arabian RV Oasis in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We decided to come to this park on a recommendation for our first AZ snowbird experience. This park is just right. There are a variety of activities for almost every type of group you could imagine. The calendar is full, from yoga, hiking, biking, shooting, sewing, arts and crafts, photography, entertainment twice a week, dances, the traditional pot-lucks, tours, lectures and just camaraderie from the folks who come back year after year. the sites range from large and spacious to a little tight, ours was a little short but we fit.. The management and staff are great. this is not a typically laid out park, turns and nooks and cranies, flower and desert gardens abound some with lights and water features. a lovely lookout tower for viewing the desert. We will be back. We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Greer's Pine Shadows, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were going to stay for 4 days but added a day because we wanted to get in one more hike. Sites were level, noisy because the park is close to 89. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He provided us with great information about the area. WIFI was awful. Otherwise a satisfactory visit. They only take cash or check. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Friendly park close to all interests. Spent a month. The sites were level, the amenities such as the pool and shuffleboard area were in good condition. Laundry, bath and shower rooms were well maintained. The park has many activities such as shuffleboard, Bingo and cards. Field trips, potlucks and other activities are well organized. This park is located near Highland Hammock State park which is a wonderful CCC park. Sebring has everything you would need other than Club stores. Sebring is amongst citrus groves. Plenty of Fresh water lakes for great fishing. Shooting ranges in nearby towns. We camped at Sebring Grove RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fay's RV Park, Holiday, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 6 weeks at this park from December to the end of January 2015. This park is not fancy but it is convenient to many attractions. Has good WiFi. It feels like a state park but with amenities. It has quite a few full time residents and lots of snowbirds. We really enjoyed our time there. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. If you're looking for a resort this is not the place, but if you like quiet relaxing space this is it. We camped at Fay's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overland RV Park, Van Buren, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park. At first glance it looked questionable. But, after parking and going in to the office we were welcomed by the staff warmly, the site was easy access, level and just right for an overnight stay, and would be good for a few days to visit the area. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the showers were all handicap accessible. It is as stated a parking lot but it suited our needs and was easy on and off and very reasonably priced. Several nice restaurants were within walking distance, Wal-Mart and Krogers were close by. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Overland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground, Live Oak, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here overnight on our way from the Tampa area to KY. We had looked forward to staying here as they have Music Festivals frequently here, and by all reports they are great. We were very disappointed in the condition of their restrooms and showers; they were filthy. We were also told there was cable, but it didn't work at our site. The Wi-Fi was very good, and the campgrounds were shaded and lovely. The beach along the Suwanee was nice, and the rest of the campground was in good condition. We will come back again for a 2nd try for a music festival. We camped at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground in a Truck Camper.
