Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Clean and spacious level sites. Paved interior roads some sites are gravel but not dust. Large grassy area set up for frisbee golf is very nice. Grass throughout the park is well manicured and green. Pool is excellent, heated and very clean. All the front desk personnel and camphost that take you to your site we're friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on and off I-90 but far enough away so you don't hear the freeway. Park road to entrance is paved then goes to firm dust free gravel....Nice. Majority of sites are pull thru which are long and wide. The sites are hard packed gravel, no dust and level. Almost all have a nice grassy treed area for a patio, larger than others. Our site 66 was huge and we walked across access road to one of the 4 trails that are cut and maintained through the forest. Large Meadow for frisbee golf or dog play. Pool was heated nice and clean. This is one of the nicest parks we've visited. Would definitely return. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the Clark River Trail. Easy access off old mill creek road in town. If you ride a gravel bike or mountain bike non technical road 282 to St. Maries is awesome.

Meadows RV Park, New Meadows, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Check in 1:00pm and they mean it. You pull up on the side of the road and go to the small kiosk. people in the office are very nice and check in is easy. Park roads and items are asphalt, some sites have tree roots that has caused the road to rise. Bumpy and not level. Sites are very close and the set up is such that you share your outdoor space with your neighbor and its impossible for you and your neighbor to fully extend your awnings as they will hit. Also our neighbor had a picnic table but we didn't. We asked the person who was driving around in the golf cart and she instructed us just pull one over from another site. Many sites don't have tables. Located on the main hwy so definitely traffic noise. Location is south of town and walking distance to River and bike path, that was a plus for us. Would stay here again but only during the "slack" season when the park is not full, it's nicer, you may not have a neighbor next you and that makes a difference. Wifi OK, not great. We camped at Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located off highway backing up to a residential area. Nice view of the mountains from west facing sites. Most sites are nicely paved and all roads are paved. Nice pool but too many kids. Would stay here again when kids are back in school. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tiger Run RV Resort, Breckenridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third visit over the last 8 years. Park is the only one in town with full hookups. Seems to be a little rundown now. Noticed more permanent residents. Large propane tanks and toys. Some of the chalets are looking tired. Clubhouse needs updating. Wi-Fi is TengoInternet that they give you coupons to use, and it is not too fast or reliable. No cable TV. We camped at Tiger Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Island View RV Park, Hope, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful location on the penisicula near Hope, ID. Campground is on lake Poundry with most sites located across a small road in a grassy area. Approximately 8 sites located on lake side. Sites are close together and are grass. Some are more level than others. Owners are friendly and accommodating. The area is home to the Dave Thompson preserve and there are deers walking throughout the park and area, loved it. The location is beautiful and relaxing. We camped at Island View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Office staff is great. Friendly and helpful. Sites are evenly spaced and easy to get into but are some wider than others, located in better sections of the park thus rating this park depends on your site. Some rows back up to highway and are noisy thus a rating of a 6 or 7. Swimming beach was small and note this park is located on the Spokane River where it dumps into Lake CDA. Not really a very nice swimming area. WiFi did not work at our site. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fairmont RV Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Long gravel sites, fairly level. Water hookup is not placed next to the unit as in most parks. Instead, it is up front of the motorhome, so you need an extension. Park is mostly gravel and weeds. The weeds are mowed, so it doesn't look too bad. Water park next door charges and does not have a lap pool. Staff very nice. We camped at Fairmont RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mammoth Mountain RV Park, Mammoth Lakes, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The reviews listed below are accurate. The parks FHU sites are in the trees on dirt. Some are larger that others so sizing is inconsistent. Access roads are very dusty and not maintained. Restrooms are old and worn out. The Partial Hookups are basically a huge parking lot. Again, some are larger than others. You share your utility box. Overall sits are very tight, so you better like your neighbor! Rules are not enforced. You can park your toad in front of your RV, but when were there people had 3 or more cars, plus storage trailers parked in front. Getting through the park in a Big Rig is challenging. Fire pits are never cleaned. If you need FHU this is the only place in town. If you can dry camp the Forest Service Parks in the area are much nicer. We camped at Mammoth Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Abrams Lake Mobile Estates & RV Park, Mount Shasta, California

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Located a few miles off the 5 freeway via a pretty treed lined frontage road. Park is mainly a permanent resident's mobile home park with a majority of these being in the back area. Most of the RV sites are in the front with a few off in the trees. One pull through site, the others are pull through's depending if it's full. Long gravel sites. Verizon cell worked fine. Self check in when we we're here. Never noticed anyone in the office. Bathrooms and laundry are located in the back among the mobile homes. We camped at Abrams Lake Mobile Estates & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mormon Bend Campground, Stanley, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Forest Service Campground located on the Salmon River. Interior roads and sites are newly paved. Sites are level and long enough to accommodate a 40ft motorhome plus small tow. A few sites are close to Hwy. which is not a busy one. Most sites are back ins, a few pull throughs. No cell service. We would definitely return. This is a quiet park approximately 7 miles from Stanley. We camped at Mormon Bend Campground in a Motorhome.

Hyrum Lake State Park, Hyrum, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Utah state park located on a small reservoir. This park is small and only has 10 sites with electrical and water hook ups. No dump station, but you can dump for a small fee a few miles from the park at a Sinclair gas station. Park was very quiet during the week but on the weekends a lot of locals bring in there boats for fishing and water skiing. Electrical sites are located under trees so sat reception is hit and miss. Verizon service was good. We camped at Hyrum Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

River's Edge at Deer Park, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Located off a quiet road off the I-40. Provo river runs on the other side of the street, NOT through the park. You have to cross a two lane paved road and walk to an access opening to get to the river. River is beautiful and has great fly fishing. Sites are mostly pull through, side by side hook ups, some back ins, all sites are tight. Campers are allowed to park their extra car/truck in the road (not in their site), making it difficult to pull into or out of you site, and gives the park a very shabby appearance. The road into the park is paved, however, the roads to the sites are not. When it rains they turn to mud. Sites are gravel. Surrounding area is beautiful. Laundry clean. WiFi poor. Verizon good. Would opt for the State Park a few miles away on next visit. We camped at River's Edge at Deer Park in a Motorhome.

Deer Creek State Park, MIdway, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Utah state park located on the Deer Creek Reservoir. Chock Cheery loop is Big Rig friendly with FHU. No shade in this area but it wasn't needed when we were there. Interior roads are wide and smooth. All sites are paved and have shade overhangs with a picnic table. A mix of back ins and pull thrus. Views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains from all sites. Many back in sites are large double sites. Fishing seems to be the draw. No real hikes in the park but a beautiful park in close proximity to Heber city. Verizon service good including broadband. Tent loop (lower area) sites are narrow with trees but a Big Rig could fit. We camped at Deer Creek State Park in a Motorhome.
