Susquehanna Trail Campground, Oneonta, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park a few years ago and decided to stop again as the park is only 1 mile from Interstate 88. New owners have made several improvements since our last visit. Large pull thru sites have been added and some have 50 AMP. The restrooms have been renovated and the park is very tidy. The park has a large tent area separate from the rest of the park and is quiet at night. The staff is extremely friendly and escorted us to our site. We stayed 3 nights and will return again next time we are in the area. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake George RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

It is a nice park close to all the activities in Lake George. There are lots of large level sites. The park was full when we were there with lots of activities. It is a little noisy at night. There are helpful staff and clean restrooms. The only negative comment I have is the price. 2 nights cost $144. We would return again if in the area. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone, Verona, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park owned by the Turning Stone Casino. It is about 1/2 mile and a free shuttle will take you to the casino. There are lots of level sites with nice shade. It has new clean restrooms and a nice swimming pool at the entrance to the park. It is a little overpriced and no discount is offered to those playing in the casino. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.
