Coronado Village, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here the last 2 nights of Balloon Fiesta. We were told when we made reservations it was within walking distance. When we arrived I asked and was told, "Oh no, it's at least 2 miles. You'll want to drive." Site was between two run down mobile homes. There was a fence along the back with barbed wire. We were greeted by two barking dogs behind us and one to the right. We also had someone hammering on a car bumper for an hour on Sunday evening right across the street. Difficult to return after the balloon festival as the road was blocked to get to the village. Had to argue with an officer and drive around barriers. We camped at Coronado Village in a Travel Trailer.

St Paul East RV Park, Woodbury, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The people here are what make the campground! They were willing to take time to to give us suggestions about things to do in the surrounding area to make our stay pleasant. The campground was clean and quiet with a very nice pool area. The only drawback was no air conditioning in the bathroom and laundry area. We stayed during the hottest week of the year! We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed here after being turned away from another campground. The owner was kind and found a site for us for the last three nights of our ten day trip. The campground is very clean and quiet and has a beautiful lake! We would return. Very nice people! We camped at Sycamore RV Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Leisure Lake Membership Resort, Joliet, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We did not stay at Leisure Lakes Resort. We called three weeks prior to our visit and were told they did not take reservations but we'd get a site as long as we were a club member. When we got there, after driving six hours, I entered the office to register. He took my Good Sam card and began to charge me for a site. I asked if we might be able to look through the campground first before paying. He tossed the Good Sam card back at me, told me to make a U-turn and leave. We left.- Floored by his nastiness! We camped at Leisure Lake Membership Resort in a Tent Trailer.
