Lemon Tree RV Inn, Mission, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a 55 and older campground, used mainly for the winter by Winter Texans. The rate is $300 a month plus electric if you pay by the month, cheaper if you pay for the whole winter at once. The park has a large clubhouse, nice swimming pool, paved streets. The sites have paved patios and paved place to park your vehicle. Your RV is parked on grass. There are 40 RV sites and the other spots have park models on them. We are staying here for 2 months. We will be here again. We camped at Lemon Tree RV Inn in a Motorhome.

Wilderness Oaks RV Park (formerly Rockport 35 RV Park Resort), Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I have been here before. We used this park as a overnight stay. The sites are paved pull-throughs. This park is a winter Texan type park that has a lot of people from the northern states and Canada. We will stay here again. The park is close to almost everything that you would need and close to the Gulf. We camped at Wilderness Oaks RV Park (formerly Rockport 35 RV Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

Beacon 7 RV Park, Seadrift, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We were going to stay at this park, but it was raining very hard, and because the park didn't have pull-through sites we went on down the road to Rockport, Texas and found a park that was paved and had pull through sites. Beacon Park is owned by local husband and wife. The park would be good for a weekend to fish, because it is close to the water. The new part of the park has no trees and was cleared out made into a extension of the old park. We would only stay here for a day and only in the fall, winter, and spring. The summer time would be to hot. We camped at Beacon 7 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Safari RV Park, League City, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Safari RV park is a Passport America park, with rates for 3 days. If you stay longer you get a discounted rate off their regular rate. My wife and I have stayed at this park off and on for 8 years. The park has the same manager. Safari also offers long term camping in their RV section or mobile home section. The park's location makes it very convenient to a lot of places to explore. We camped at Safari RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Conroe RV Resort (formerly Lake Conroe Park And RV At McCaleb Roa, Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $325.00
Overall Rating:

This park has new ownership, new sites added, paved roads, nice sites. I have a level concrete space with nice cement patio. Good reception with my Verizon Internet, also excellent area for satellite television. My rate was based on monthly cost, plus 15 cent electric kilowatt rate. This park is mainly for long term. But they do take Passport America when space is available. I would use this park again. I am here for six weeks for a seasonal job. We camped at Lake Conroe RV Resort (formerly Lake Conroe Park And RV At McCaleb Roa in a Motorhome.

Hillcrest RV Park (formerly Timber Lodge Resort), Pumpkin, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a membership park, and we camped here through Passport America. The park is on the small size with very little shade. All sites are pull throughs. There is a clubhouse that has washers and dryers in one area. Timber Lodge would be nice for the winter time, early spring, or late fall. The park likes to have camping groups or clubs use the park. We camped at Hillcrest RV Park (formerly Timber Lodge Resort) in a Motorhome.

Crossett Harbor RV Park, Crossett, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park for a couple nights. We had good satellite reception. You have to be aware of sugar ants. They were in our motorhome with in 24 hours. They were going up our satellite connection to the motorhome. I had to spray everything inside and out. We would camp here again. We just have to be mindful of the ants. The sites are paved and are pretty level. We camped at Crossett Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, but no shade, no swimming pool, good electricity, parked on gravel, had to back in, because we used Passport America. Would camp here again in late fall or early spring. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our pull-through site was very narrow, we had only one slide out, not enough room for living room slide. The park was overpriced in our opinion. The sites were gravel. Might stay there again if the other parks in the area were full. We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagle Ridge RV Park, Eagleville, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of my favorite stops to and from Iowa. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They take you to your site and help you park your RV. I used their showers this time and they are very clean. I also used their laundry room, and the cost was one dollar for the washer and one dollar for the dryer. My wife and I will stay here again. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a small but very nice park for a short stay. The bathrooms were clean but kind of on the old side. The campground is clean and will maintain. We had a nice long pull through with easy in and easy out spot. The owners, husband and wife, were very friendly and helpful about the area. We would stay here again. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

My wife and I camped in the section right along the river. All the sights along the river are paved. They are back ins, but very nice. Some shade and easy to get your satellite dish lined up. The sights come with really nice picnic tables and fire rings. Our rate was based on Golden Age discount. We camped at Bob Shetler Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Red River Ranch RV Resort, Thackerville, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a old membership park that has has been there for a long time. The park has a new owner. The old club house needs to be up dated. The campground itself could used some trees. There are several permanent residents. The rate that we paid was Passport America. Our site was level and a drive through and long enough for a 45 foot motor home. We would stay again. We camped at Red River Ranch RV Resort in a Motorhome.
