Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA, Broadway, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I stayed 3 nights in a fifth wheel. Our site was spacious, level and mostly shaded. The only reason why I did not rate it higher is because none of the camp sites had been mowed or have been touched by a weedeater for several days. I understand they had quite a bit of rain but the entire time we were there I never heard a mower. I had to place a big rock on top of my sewer hose to keep it in the sewer pipe. The camp ground was just sold the week prior to our stay so I'm sure there are some transition issues going on. The facilities were clean especially the laundry, showers and bathrooms. I also spoke briefly to the new owner and they are in the process of upgrading the wifi service throughout the entire camp ground and it will be free. There will no longer be a fee to use the wifi after the first hour. Every staff member I came in contact with were wonderful, friendly and courteous. We will come back. We camped at Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I just spent 10 days at Pine Mountain RV Park. Only site 1,3 and 10 were available when I made the reservations. Site 10 was really nice, of course all sites have concrete pads and patio's as well as asphalt roads throughout. We had a really nice shade tree just a few feet away from the back of our camper and we really enjoyed because it was the only shade we had. Unfortunately, some of the other campers liked it too because that's where they walked their dogs. Just a few feet from the back of our camper. Really ? So much for respecting other peoples campsite's. Especially when there was a huge yard behind the tree. Not to mention the fact that the people that were using the back of our camper to walk their dogs, had their own yard and trees. Anyway, camp ground was great, clean and very well kept. Not once did I find the bathrooms or showers dirty. The interior roads are a little narrow especially if your in a big coach. And there were several there. We would definitely stay here again but I would try to get site 41 or 42. Those are awesome. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
