Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Hobe Sound, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean natural state park. Sites level and large. We were in Pine Grove so not much vegetation but enough space to feel private. Plenty to do in park from biking to horseback riding. Be prepared to deal with ants but as long as proactive no problem. The rangers and hosts were excellent and very knowledgeable. Would have given 10 but the campground is located so close to the highway side that the morning traffic was problem - and we are not typically bothered by noise so it was definitely loud. Park is in close proximity to everything. Stayed 2 weeks and would return. We camped at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here to visit Memphis. About 15 min to Beale St. Very clean large park on the Mississippi River. We had a riverfront site that gave us a wonderful view of the river. Enjoyed watching the barges slowly move up and down the river. Large, level sites. We had concrete pad but many are crushed gravel. Shaded spots limited but that was a bonus this time of year. Was very dusty due to lack of rain but certainly not fault of campground. Will definitely return. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Woodside Lake Park, Streetsboro, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here overnight because of convenience from I-80. Small and a little tight, but well-kept, and some of the nicest people we have had the pleasure to deal with. Employee took us to our spot, a level pull-through, and made sure we had no problems. Has a lovely little lake for swimming and fishing. Very quiet at night. Would certainly stop here again. We camped at Woodside Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient location - easy to get to. Hidden among boatyards so be prepared. Very clean and well-kept but very dusty. Very nice staff. Sweetwater Forest Family Camping Resort, Brewster, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet heavily wooded campground. Sites were very large but getting in and driving out from our site was very challenging (and my husband is very experienced and competent with our 40' rig). Might be big issue for a newbie. Friendly helpful family owners and staff. We camped at Sweetwater Forest Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

The Dell RV Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely exclusive park for class A only. Privately owned sites, not all of which are available to rent. Very quiet. Easy to visit Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and even Knoxville if you don't mind a relatively short drive. There are no bathhouses or showers - not needed, but there is a lovely pool at the clubhouse at the top of the hill. Only negative was that our chosen site was not quite as depicted in the online pictures, however we were quickly moved to another site which was spacious and very nice. Several owners were there during our stay - wonderful people. Highly recommend. We camped at The Dell RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here as an overnight stop ($30/night if after 6 pm). Delightful find. Easy access off highway and mostly pull through sites. Overnight sites are no frills but have full hookups and the use of facilities. Very clean, nice pool and hot tub, and nicest bathhouse we've seen. If near area again will definitely consider longer stay. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed here several times over past 10 years. Absolutely beautiful, friendly, quiet park. Has two pools, hot tub, tennis courts. Very easy to get to from 1-95 and equally easy to go to end of island if you want to go to beaches, etc. So nice that often we don't leave the park itself. Will certainly be returning. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Bluewater Key RV Resort, Key West, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $96.00
Overall Rating:

A bit pricey but one of the most beautiful RV parks we have ever stayed at. Huge site on the ocean with a fully equipped Tiki hut and picnic area. The pool and bath house a bit worn but we never used as we spent time in Key West. We camped at Bluewater Key RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coastal Georgia RV Resort, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely small park. Sites a little narrow, but very long and easy to get in. It is new and a bit open, but as trees mature it should be quite private. Immaculate. Very quiet. Conveniently off I-95. Found it while traveling Florida to Pennsylvania. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice clean park. Hills and tight roads, but no problem getting in and out with a 40' MH. Pool was large and clean, security visible, and office staff could not have been nicer. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Sun Valley Campground in a Motorhome.
