Rogue Valley Overniters RV, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Overniters is just that - an okay stop for one night. They advertise wi-fi and cable t.v but we rarely could connect to the wi-fi and were unable to use the cable as you had to have a box of some sort. They offered the box but since we can't get to the back of our t.v. we couldn't use it. In fairness to the wi-fi it was explained they are getting interference from an antenna across the street and are in the process of installing boosters in the hopes of getting a better signal inside the park. This park is primarily permanent residents - many of which have very old rv's. The owners keep the park clean but still has a cluttered look in many of the permanent spots. Most of those older units were in a separate lower section of the park. You couldn't ask for a nicer person at check in. She was extremely friendly and helpful. It's just too bad we weren't told when we called that the wi-fi wasn't working and there may be a problem using their cable. We would have gone elsewhere. I don't feel we got our money's worth at this place. Definitely will not return. We camped at Rogue Valley Overniters RV in a Motorhome.

Golden Pine RV Park, June Lake, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small rv park and is very popular with many return campers. Mostly older, retired people. A lot of them stay for several months each summer. A very friendly and welcoming group. The park is within walking distance to two lakes (Gull & June) and into town. We've stayed here before and sure miss the previous hosts. But the new hosts are very nice and helpful and seem to fit in with the regulars. They have cable & wi-fi but the wi-fi is very, very slow. The park is up for sale but if it's still open next summer, we'll be back. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

When the park is full, the interior roads can get really tight. There are no pull through sites.
