Immaculate RV park on 50 acres. Lots of walking trails. Large sites. Very very clean. Wonderful new owners who work very hard along with their work campers to keep this park pristine! We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Only), Alto, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one month. Beautiful RV Resort atop hill in Alto, NM which is just outside of Ruidoso. All sites and streets are paved, large landscaped sites with gas fire pits. There is a beautiful clubhouse with laundry and shower facilities although we didn't use. Convenient to Ruidoso and area attractions. As a guest, you can use the Rainmakers Country Club for golf, exercise facilities and dining, we enjoyed lunch there. Also as a guest, you can use Ruidoso Downs Jockey Club on non-holiday weekends, we used and enjoyed a day at the races. Wonderful owners Jimmie and Lisa who were very accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed relaxing at the resort and watching the elk and deer wander through the resort. There is a hiking trail we used daily to walk our dog. There isn't another RV Resort in Ruidoso that compares to this one and the views from atop the mountain are gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in the area - Spencer Theater is a mile away, we toured and went to a performance, amazing place. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Horse racing close by. Beautiful drive to the mountain town of Cloud croft, best BBQ. Drove to Alamogordo and enjoyed the White Sands National Monument and White Sands Missile Range very interesting.

CreekFire Motor Ranch, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: Beautiful RV Park, very nice amenities, pool, hot tub, fire pits at each site, tennis courts, gated, choice of lots (gravel, cement, lakeside, back-in, pull-thru, etc.), plans to expand, paved streets, 3 rental cabins, trash cans at each site, majority of workers very nice. We didn't use the bath house, laundry, cable. Wifi - didn't signup for it. Cons: Arrived 1pm, checkin wasn't until 2pm so they assessed us a $10 early fee plus tax and site was open/no one parked us - many years of RV traveling and this is the first time EVER charged an early fee. Fenced dog park unusable blanketed by round thorns off trees, reported to workers. There is a $5 a day resort fee (?), No receipt on checkin, I guess they keep your cc open until you depart so unless you go ask for a receipt you do not receive? Long but narrow parking spots. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice small park, very clean. There are several spots along the river. Some people fished while there. The owner was very helpful and went above and beyond to help make short 3 night stay stay enjoyable. We came to ride the train, just a short two mile drive to the train. We would definitely stay here again. Our site was in the middle area, all gravel, plenty of room. Some sites are open with no trees others in very wooded area, very nice. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this RV park! First class RV resort. Surrounded by mountains. Gated RV park. The sites are concrete with a concrete pad and nice steel picnic table at each site. Each site is landscaped. There is a .9 mile landscaped walking path around the park. Beautiful bath house, hot tub, gorgeous clubhouse, pickleball courts, large dog park, activities scheduled by the park each night something different; i.e.: s'mores, ice cream social, wine and cheese welcome reception, on and on. Get up before the sun comes up and see a larger herd of elk walking back up into the mountains right by the park (there is a large fence all around the park to keep the wildlife out). The manager is great and works hard to please the guests along with the rest of his staff to insure a great visit. Angel Fire is a beautiful, quiet town close to Red River and Taos. Several local eateries and if you stay in the RV resort, you can use the Angel Fire Country Club if you play golf, want to use the indoor pool, exercise facility or restaurant. We walked through the country club (about 5 miles or so from the RV Resort) but didn't use the facilities, only heard great things about all of it. We stayed in a 43' RV and we will definitely return! We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Angel Fire Ski Resort - take the lift chair to the top, beautiful views, restaurant, zip line (2 options), mountain bike or hike down. There are several restaurants around as well as a reasonably priced grocery store (Lowe's).
