North Lake RV Park and Campground, Kettle Falls, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park being updated and fixed up by new owners the past two years. They make it comfortable and clean. Sites are tight, dirt/gravel. In the trees so forget satellite TV unless you have portable unit. Those seemed to work fine. Short walk to the water. We did an overnight and it was perfect; longer might depend on your neighbors since you are so close. We camped at North Lake RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Daroga State Park, Orondo, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Rate needs an extra $6.50 if you reserve online. Beautiful!!!! Right on the banks of the Columbia River. Boat dock, HUGE day use area. Green grass all around. I would not recommend anything over 36 feet. One or maybe two sites could take a 40+ footer. Super park. We camped at Daroga State Park in a Motorhome.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. A little wider than most. As stated, orange trees right outside each door. We were here in January and picked and ate all we could. They even offer picking poles to get the higher fruit. Restrooms are cleaner than clean. The clubhouse is probably the nicest I've seen even though we don't really use them. Free coffee and doughnuts each morning but that might not always be the case. We stayed 3 nights and will make this a stop on our way north and south. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Nice spot for location to town but you really can't get to the ocean without driving a few miles. It's on a "lagoon" that blocks you from access. Pretty tight spots, but grass behind the rows was nice. The facilities are excellent. Nice store, very good large laundry, $1.50 wash, $1.25 dry. Gated access 24/7. Lots of kids on the weekend, and they were all happy so it must be kid friendly. An FYI: Rosa's Italian Restaurant is about 2 miles away with EXCELLENT food. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Would probably give it a 10 if it was summer and I played golf. It's in a great valley, and the course looked very nice. We were here in January, and it was just rainy and soaked. Not their fault. The area is very grassy which is great, but it was a soggy mess and hard to stay out of the mud. There is a cement slab at each site so you can align with that. We'd love to come back in spring. As a side note it looks like a great spot for kids, too. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Looks like you're lost, but follow the directions. It's up a steep hill with a big curve but no problem with 35' & toad. Nice fellow running it. Fairly level, gravel sights. Just overnighted but a great view from where they sit. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Portside RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Cafe on site that was cute. Closed at 4:00 in January but can't blame them. It gets dark about then. Right on the ocean. Watch the waves break out the front window of our motorhome. Nice beach to walk on too. Wi-Fi was good and satellite was no problem since there aren't any real tall trees. Level, gravel sites with cement pad for patio. 66 cable channels. Sounds of waves all night. LOVE IT!! Best park in town of many parks. We camped at Portside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This would be a 10 if it was closer to the ocean but a very nice park it is. Clean, level, paved sites with planted shrubs and flowering bushes in between. Real clean clubhouse with laundry and bathrooms that reflect the owners care. The lady that works there was most helpful and pleasant. Great spot. I'd stay again. As a PS there is an RV repair next door that did some minor work for me but was a first class operation for anything big or small. AAA RV Roadside too. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Motorhome.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We paid nothing because nobody was there when we checked in and nobody came in the morning. Tried to find a way but I guess we'll have to mail it in. Great place just off I-5. Lots of grass, level, paved sites. Good Wi-Fi, good satellite since trees are small. VERY clean restrooms and laundry. Big clubhouse if you want meeting space. Great pool area but not much swimming in January!! I'd stay here anytime. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Red Canyon RV Park and Campground, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy. Right on hiway 12 but... not much traffic at night. It's actually a nice place with grass area. Wifi is in the office so park as close as you can. Cable is good and all sites are FU. Like I said, nothing fancy but all in all a very nice place to stay if you are going to Beyce Canyon and the price is right. We camped at Red Canyon RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
