Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very typical KOA. Nice overnight stop. Gravel but level sites. Right on the Yakima River if you fish. The only down side was a lot of sites are made to pull in both ways so you can end up sharing your picnic table area with your neighbor. Great if you are traveling with friends. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Game Farm Wilderness Park, Auburn, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

What a great spot and right in the middle of a metro area. Quiet, miles of paved trails, Frisbee golf through the woods and priced right. They don't water the grass so it will be brown in late August/September but still very nice. We camped at Game Farm Wilderness Park in a Motorhome.

La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of "extended stay" sites. More duct tape and tarp than metal on some of them. Could be a nice spot if cleaned out. Lawn(weeds) hadn't been mowed in weeks but the sprinklers ran at night. Go figure. Have to say very clean laundry though. Right on the freeway and train tracks. We camped at La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort in a Motorhome.

James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park (Fruita Section), Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great spot. Next to the Colorado River. Lots of room in sites. Very close to town if you forgot something. Stayed 2 nights with kids in a tent. Nice pad for tent next to each RV site with a cover over the picnic table. We camped at James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park (Fruita Section) in a Motorhome.

Butch Cassidy RV Park and Campground, Salina, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Handy to freeway for overnight but it's pretty much a gravel lot with hookups. So close together that they can't fit a picnic table between sites. Nice folks and clean restrooms. Rabbits all around. We camped at Butch Cassidy RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice place! Friendly folks beautiful grassy sites next to the Snake River. Walk 100 yards to fish. Freeway is right there so a bit noisy but other than that I would stay a week. They even said they would deliver food from the kitchen in their store. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.
