Leo Carrillo State Beach, Malibu, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Some sites now have electric only. Our site had pedestal on wrong side so we just pulled in. Check for clearance, as tree limbs are over many sites. Construction of bridges has road to North Beach closed. Beach is just a walk under the highway but sites further inland can have quite a long walk. We have camped here off and on the past 10 years. We camped at Leo Carrillo State Beach in a Motorhome.

Holiday Palms RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, friendly and helpful staff. They even escort you to your site and, again, are so friendly. Stayed here for the RV show and park has corner exit that lets you walk under the 10 fwy and onto the Tyson Wells flea market and the RV show. Loved how clean and well maintained the park is and the spa was a nice treat after a full day of the RV show and flea markets. We plan on staying here again in the future. One more time, a very friendly staff as were the other people staying at this park. Lots of waving and how are you doing. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Candlestick RV Park, San Francisco, California

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Recently spent two nights at the Candlestick RV park in San Francisco. Despite some of the negative comments made about the park and the area we enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet at night, well lighted and security at the entrance. The staff was very friendly and the restrooms were clean. The shuttle to Downtown for only 12 dollars round trip was a bargain and they were happy to add a later pickup time when requested. We stayed here when there wasn't a home game scheduled so when a game is played I'm sure all sites are taken. No doubt there will be considerable more activity than usual during a home game. I would stay here again and you should consider this park if you are looking to stay close to San Francisco with easy access to the freeway. Sites are close together and there was some trash no doubt leftover from the just recently concluded football game. A spa or pool would have increased our overall rating. However, considering that it is a park designed for travelers visiting San Francisco and other points of interest makes the location ideal. We camped at Candlestick RV Park in a Motorhome.
