Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
September, 2018 -
$52.00
Overall Rating:
Sites are compact & roads are rather narrow but actually we had no problems navigating to our site or exiting when we left. This park is built on a hill so there are some views & there is a lot of art work scattered about the park. We were visiting friends in Santa Fe so we didn't do much besides sleep & shower while in the park but we did sit outside one night & found it to be nicely quiet - no kids or parties. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
The "open-bus tour" of old Santa Fe is worth the $15 & very informative. We had dinner at Rancho de Chimayo Restaurante in Chimayo, NM which was excellent as always and only about a 20 minute drive from old Santa Fe.

Freeport Village Campground, Freeport, Maine
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
Nice, smaller, 55+ park with FHU & plenty of room between sites. Almost all seasonal campers but a few daily sites both back-in & pull-thru. This is not a "kid friendly" park nor does it pretend to be...we like the peace & quiet while we stay here for the summer. This park is close to Freeport & L.L. Bean and all the rest of the shopping experience of Freeport and is close to I-295 for further exploration of south-eastern Maine. We camped at Freeport Village Campground in a Motorhome.

Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee
Date of Stay:
May, 2017 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
Older park needs some TLC for the overnighters area. Asphalt parking area with potholes in a kind of industrial setting...chain link fences to your back and not particularly scenic but moderately level. Yes, it's close to Graceland but that's about all. Won't be staying here again because Elvis is off my bucket list. We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
May, 2017 -
$45.00
Overall Rating:
A great campground...neat as a pin and clean as can be. Super friendly staff and the park is quiet, well manicured and well kept up. A pleasure tasty here. The desk recommended several places to eat and their recommendation was spot on. We will be staying here again in our motorhome. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.
LaPosta in old town Mesilla...a worthy dining event...we'll be back and arrive earlier to enjoy the square!

Illiniwek Park and Forest Preserve, Hampton, Illinois
Date of Stay:
September, 2016 -
$16.00
Overall Rating:
A pleasant surprise on the Mississippi River...gravel sites are a little narrow and all back-in but there is plenty of open space so it didn't feel cramped. The check-in process is interesting...go find an open site & then come back to the office after 4:00PM & fill out the papers. We will stay here next trip. We camped at Illiniwek Park and Forest Preserve in a Motorhome.
