Blue Valley RV Park, Walla Walla, Washington

One of our favorite RV parks in the state. Extremely quiet, with very friendly guests and hosts. Also one of the prettiest parks you will find. We camped at Blue Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

25 wine tasting rooms within a mile- probably over 100 vineyards in the local area. Cabernet is one of the best in the world. The old town Walla Walla is one of the nicest and neatest you will find in this country. Plenty of shopping and restaurants. There is a coffee shop behind the Starbucks in downtown WW - a great place with great coffee and pastries.

Neat Retreat RV Park, Fruitland, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

First the bad: you will drive by the full-timers, some of whom have been here for years with RVs that haven't moved for years as well. The good- the last section is for overnighters and it is great. Spacious lots, tall trees, plenty of shade, friendly people. It is like two separate parks, so don't be hesitant to stay here. We loved it here. Everyone is friendly, especially the overnighters - you hardly see any of the full-timers. Restrooms are somewhat small, but clean and very functional. Word to the owner- you have locals from outside the RV who like to jog through the park with her two children riding bikes and pulling a large brown poodle dog. She doesn't like to 'pick up' after her dog. You may want to put a doggie poop bag near this section for the lazy neighbors. We camped at Neat Retreat RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Grande Hot Springs Resort, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely gorgeous RV park - 100 spots, all with plenty of space. Plenty of ground to walk around on, with a nice office and very friendly staff. Extremely quiet, only a few minutes to the beautiful cities of Union and La Grande. Be sure and do a half-day trip to Walawalla Lake (spelling is close...) and visit the town of Joseph. The hot springs themselves are in two pools, one large that is very warm, and a smaller one that is hot. Both extremely clean. This is now one of our favorite RV parks in the Pacific NW! We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This is now our favorite RV park in the state. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the lot was wide, TV reception and selection choice with the cable was excellent. The park resides next to the Yakima River and even has a fly fishing business located on the premises (with a very personable young fishing guide). While located close to the freeway, we found the car noise minimal. A little on the pricey side, I noticed many of the other quality parks have raised their prices as well. It was mentioned that the park has a new owner and they plan on adding improvements in the off-season for next year; which I will be interested to see how they could possibly improve. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Place is okay, great location. Roads are gravel and tend to get dusty. Bathroom is dated; faucet fell off one sink, could only get hot water out of all 3 sinks. Showers okay, again are dated. Only two toilets for this large park. With over 120 slots and the place appearing to be booked every day we were day, I think they could put some money into remodeling the bathrooms or even paving the roads. Some of the workers were quite friendly, one was rude to my wife and ignored her when she came into the office and asked where the laundry was. Location was great. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Next to the river with paved paths to walk. Many nearby shops and restaurants - great location. Despite the issues, we would stay here again. But it could be so much more.

There is a long, scenic easy walking trail next to the river, next to the RV park. That is one of the strong attributes to this park. (Watch out for some of the idiot bike riders though)

Beautiful campground, plenty of room, dog walk area. Service was excellent and can't say enough about the Manager Ric. We had problems with our electronic hitch and Ric showed us how to fix the problem. He was friendly and extremely helpful. This is our third time here and it is one of our favorites. Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Overall Rating:

As mentioned, the best thing about this park is the location next to the walking trail along the Snake River. The road and spots are gravel; too bad would rate a 10 otherwise. The RV spots are quite spacious and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very pretty and modern RV park. Trailer slots are paved, staff friendly. Bathrooms are individual units with shower and toilet; six units in all, more than adequate and very clean. The no refund less than 24 hours notice is posted on the web; common business of many RV parks we have found, similar to hotels. One of the best rv parks we have stayed at. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mt St Helens RV Resort, Silverlake, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Park is nice, people on front desk were friendly. Restrooms were clean and they are pet friendly, even for our dog with a low IQ. This place is under used and not sure why. Great view. Cable TV is not great. We have a Verizon cell phone and it worked with no problem. We camped at Mt St Helens RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
