High Plains Campground, Gillette, Wyoming

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of only two campgrounds around the Gillette area. Campground is way to expensive for being gravel sites. Had no choice but to stay here because according to reviews of the other campground, this was far better. We camped at High Plains Campground in a Motorhome.

What a nice campground. Had a good pull through site with our door being not far from the horse corral. Friendly horses and people. Would stay again if in area. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Wall, South Dakota

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice campground. Sites were all pull throughs. The only complaint was that the trains only run at night. All-in-all, would stay here again if in the area. The campground owners live on site and are very nice. Located within walking distance of Wall Drug and restaurants. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

This has always been a favorite of ours, heading either direction on Highway 231. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. We have stayed at this campground for over 10 years on our travels. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone, and we do recommend it. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Caledonia, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for three nights. Two rows of pull through sites were available due to the fact that the campground does not open until mid-May. If we were in the area we would stay again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground, Welcome, Minnesota

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This was a good find. Owners very nice. We were the only ones camping here because they were just opened a few weeks. We paid $15 nightly for three nights as they are a Passport America campground. Would recommend this park to people traveling through Minnesota on I-90, Exit 93, 1/4 mile south. Did not experience any interstate noise at all. We camped at Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground in a Motorhome.
