Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure what I missed given all the other glowing reviews. Just barely worth the passport america price. No amenities. Our site was in the middle of a small field right beside I95, an airport, racetrack, and neighboring RV with a yappy dog. Nothing but noise in this park. We would not return. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pioneer Park Campground, Somerset, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very pretty setting spoiled by a poor experience from start to finish. Young office staff gave poor directions to park, recent rains made for a muddy mess (up to a foot deep in some parts of park), very narrow sites, shut off our water without notice, bath house not clean (dead bugs and leaking urinal), pricey given that no amenities were open / available. Not sure this park should be rated as big rig accessible as, like the prior poster, our larger fifth wheel dropped onto our truck's bed rails due to the angle of the road and campground entrance. We would not return. We camped at Pioneer Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Eby's Pines Campground, Bristol, Indiana

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight to have RV serviced nearby. Pricey for an off-season stay with no facilities open; no discounts accepted. Tall pines blocked satellite signal. We would probably not return. We camped at Eby's Pines Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wolfie's Campground, Zanesville, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Streets to the park from I-70, entry road, and interior roads of the park were narrow for our larger RV but not so bad if you take your time. Off-season overnight stay. Pro's - Long pull-through site, quiet at night. Very friendly owner. Cons - Site was more dirt than gravel. If we had to be in the area we would stay again. We camped at Wolfie's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Keystone RV Center, Greencastle, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Sites and common road were somewhat tight for our larger RV and is a muddy mess after any rainfall. Appreciate being able to stay for free to have some service work done on the RV but truly felt like it was only adequate for the price (not) paid. If I were paying to stay here I would deduct a rating point for every dollar per night they charged me. We camped at Keystone RV Center in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort Williamsport MD, Williamsport, Maryland

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park for families with children. Price reflects a weeks stay (off-season). Pro's - lots of activities, easy access to and in the park with our larger RV, quiet at night. Cons - pricey if you don't have kids and are just using the park as an overnight or full hookup park to see area sites. We would stay again as it's the only decent place in the area for big rigs. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort Williamsport MD in a Fifth Wheel.

The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nicest overnight along I-95 that we have ever had. Well kept park and facilities. Very nice owners, very easy access to and in the park with our larger RV, and all for a reasonable price. We would certainly use this park again for an overnight or to see the area. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Aesthetically a very nice park and close to Charleston with easy access for our larger RV. Cons: Pricey (reflects a weeks stay). I must have had the same site as the prior reviewer as I really sunk in the mud and gravel site I was assigned to. Fuzzy cable was unwatchable. The park was mostly empty, but RV's were packed in on top of each other in the same row / very narrow spaces. The neighbor's sewer connection was under our site's picnic table directly out our RV's door. Plethora of obnoxious speed bumps and an office employee who scolded us at (maybe) 11 mph. Seriously, how fast could I have been going in 50 feet between speed bumps? We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Oaks RV Park & Campground, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey for an overnight stop with no amenities; no cable, no pool, and WiFi unusable. Low branches and tight roads for our larger RV. Friendly owner claims satellite TV hookups but it didn't work while we were there. We would not return. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Ocala Sun RV Resort, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Reasonably priced (reflects week's stay), full hookups, quiet at night, friendly staff and guests, and very easy access with our larger RV. Only negative: Advertising a rounded corner of the pool as a "spa" is a bit of a stretch. We would return. We camped at Ocala Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

As posted in my prior review, this is a wonderful park at a very reasonable rate. When making reservations you must view the online campground map and assure you are given an adequate sized site for your RV by the hourly female office workers. We were assigned a 40 foot site for our 38' RV. We couldn't even get in the site, and would have had nowhere to park our tow vehicle. We saw several others arrive with the same issue. We would certainly stay again, but will always double check our site assignment. We camped at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cozy Acres Campground, Powhatan, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground, super quiet at night, but pretty expensive for a rural park near no attractions and without cable and internet. AT&T cell service very poor, if any signal at all. Pool was nice, but dirty during our overnight stay. Easy access to and in the park with our larger sized RV, if you follow directions on their website. Would stay again only if we had to be near something specific in the area, otherwise its way too expensive for a campground with limited amenities and no nearby attractions. We camped at Cozy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
