Welcome Station RV Park, Wells, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Just relax! I was glad I choose Welcome for my stop between Colorado and California. After driving through a lot of nothing this place had well-manicured grass, large trees and streams flowing on both sides of the park. Easy check-in. After a quick call the managers meet you at the entrance and guide you into your spot. No need to get out of your rig until you are parked. You see the owners out working all the time but always had time to answer any questions you had. The restroom and laundry were keep clean. You can walk their short trails, relax on the benches listening to the birds and flowing water and don't forget to search for ladybugs. The park is close to mountain lakes and a ghost town. I camped here in a travel trailer and was extremely happy that I had allowed 3 days. I will be back. We camped at Welcome Station RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Visitor center in town worth visiting. A short drive up the mountain to Angel Lake is a must. A interesting trip out to the ghost town of Metropolis.

Sherman County RV Park, Moro, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

What a great find. Needed an overnight stop to split my trip from Spokane to Bend. The park was only half a mile off hwy 97 so easy to find. Camp host came out as I stopped. Long pull through and level. Bathrooms were very clean with very large showers. Full service on my Verizon but they do provide free wifi. I even got a number of channels on my antenna TV including a good movie channel. Great views of rolling hills and wheat fields. Clear view of the night sky. A small but clean laundry. Some permanent rigs but it was really quiet. Reservations are best made on line by emailing a request. They called me back in 24 hours. For some reason the phone request I made did not work. I will definitely stay here again. The price I paid was for 30 amp. (They only take cash.) We camped at Sherman County RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Blue Mountain RV Park, Blanding, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here the month of May so had a monthly rate ($500). Daily was $35.00. So much to see in the area I wished I had stayed longer. Staff was very informative in telling of things to see in the area. Everyone was friendly. My site was level with no trees but that was fine for the time of year. Some sites had trees. Everything was kept clean. Awesome views of the mountains. The owners have the Trading Post in front with a large collection of authentic Indian jewelry, rugs, art etc. I would not hesitate to recommend it. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in a travel trailer. Easy to get too as there are signs on the hwy and at the turn on Memory Lane. Less than half a mile to Wal-Mart. Great sites with privacy walls/fences. Sites are very large, level and have a comfortable feel. Ranch theme with old equipment in open areas invites lots of birds and rabbits. It is so quite you think you are on your own ranch. The restroom and laundry facilities are among the cleanest and upscale as I have seen. Plus the manager and staff are very friendly and know the area. I would stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
