River Cities RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana
Date of Stay:
November, 2019 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
Call or reserve on line. Kiosk entry and gated. Level sites which were long enough for a 45ft with tow. Level and hook-ups convenient and easy. WiFi works well. TV reception on antenna works well. Great spot for an overnight since it is easy on and off and no disconnect needed.
Seems like there are interesting things to do in area for a two or three day stay. We
camped at River Cities RV Park in a Motorhome.

Checotah / Lake Eufaula West KOA, Checotah, Oklahoma
Date of Stay:
July, 2018 -
$47.00
Overall Rating:
Easy in and out but need to take care with some trees. We had a premium site so had table, chair, fire pit and nicely landscaped. Great site for extended stay. Owners pleasant and helpful. Campground is on the lake with a short walk on road through woods. Pool was inviting but we were only there for the night. Cute camp store with some different items. We have stayed here before and what we always enjoyed was the cafe that was open for all 3 meals. It now is open only during summer and 5 days which included the weekend. This was a really nice perk when it was always open. We camped at Checotah / Lake Eufaula West KOA in a Motorhome.

Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi
Date of Stay:
July, 2018 -
$39.00
Overall Rating:
Campground is terraced into a hill so some sites difficult for large RV. Roads narrow. Owners helpful and polite. Need cash or check only. We have 45' coach so a bit tight getting in and out but worked. Sites are very nicely landscaped. Close to restaurants etc but we didn't unhook. A nice park for overnight or extended stay yo visit sites along Natchez Trace or Tupelo. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

An older park but service was good...workers pleasant. Site was long enough with 45' coach with tow and level although may not be true of all sites. Good place for an overnight stop. We camped at Tifton KOA in a Motorhome.

Wanderlust Crossings RV Park, Weatherford, Oklahoma
Date of Stay:
July, 2018 -
$43.00
Overall Rating:
This is an easy park to get in and out of with a 45' motorhome with a tow. Did not have to disconnect. Most sites are pull through and in full sun. A few back in sites have shade. Well kept and relatively new. Convenient to restaurants. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay. We camped at Wanderlust Crossings RV Park in a Motorhome.

South Park Mobile Home Park (55+ park), Englewood, Colorado
Date of Stay:
September, 2016 -
$45.00
Overall Rating:
Office is closed Sat and Sun. Went in Sat and our packet was waiting at office. No cash or credit cards. Placed check in envelope and deposited in night box. Sites are all back in and level. Sewer hookup a bit high. We had site right by pool which was still open even after Labor Day since weather was warm. Separate space for car by side of coach. Other tows were parked in front of RVs. Didn't use any amenities but appearance of park was well kept and clean. Park is quiet with very little traffic near us. Most of park appears to be mobiles and park models with RVs sprinkled in except for those daily sites where we were. We have been through Denver many times and always stayed on outskirts. This park is right in town and easy in and out. Wish I found it earlier. Would stay here again. We camped at South Park Mobile Home Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
Everything you need is nearby.

Cross Creek Camp Ground and Cabins, Clayton, Georgia
Date of Stay:
September, 2015 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
Smaller campground where owners are on site and most helpful. A bit tight for big rigs but the owner is there to help you in and out. When we called he said he had a site we would fit in; call first, especially if you are over 40 ft. Some slope to sites but this is the mountains. Owner helped us place blocks under wheels. Picnic table and fire ring at sites. No pool or playground, etc.
Convenient to stores, restaurants, and local attractions. Road noise is not an issue. Great campground for a few nights although we did meet folks who stay for a month or more. We
camped at Cross Creek Camp Ground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Tranter's Creek Resort & Campground, Washington, North Carolina
Date of Stay:
August, 2015 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
Rate reflects combination of weekly/monthly rate. Electric is separate. We stayed here for 7 weeks as we had a medical issue. Note that medical treatment in Washington and nearby Greenville is very good.
This park is mostly park models with a grass area for transients. Well kept and friendly. Owner was very accommodating to us since we had a medical concern. Big rigs are welcome. Had no problem leveling. Turn after gate a bit tight; just use caution. Pool and shaded outdoor pavilion and the park has activities for children and adults. Fishing and boating access in park and nearby. Would stay here again. We
camped at Tranter's Creek Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Winter Garden RV Resort, Winter Garden, Florida
Date of Stay:
April, 2015 -
$48.00
Overall Rating:
Old Florida campground with lots of pine trees and also open spaces. Pine sap a problem so we chose the open spaces. Snowbirds had departed so lots of room but when everyone in...crowded and cramped. Lots of park models...some needing attention. Need to check sites; leveling can be a problem. Hookups also can be a problem; some sewers end up under RV and power can be a problem I am told by residents. Pools could be cleaned more frequently as debris blows in and makes a mess. Does not seem like much is reinvested in park. Daily rates way high.....monthly makes the park very reasonable for the area since it is near Disney. We stay here because it is close to family. We camped at Winter Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Theme parks close. Access to major highways excellent.

Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort, Clermont, Florida
Date of Stay:
April, 2015 -
$24.00
Overall Rating:
Older gated Florida park but kept up. Golf course meanders through. Roads are narrow but adequate. Lots of big oak trees with hanging moss in our area. Provides nice shade but need to watch branches. We had to cut down some very low branches and moss to feel comfortable. Some areas open. Workers pleasant and helpful. Wifi ...use your own. No cable but some channels on antenna. Lots of activities during season. Would stay here again. We camped at Clerbrook Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Lake Ridge Winery tour interesting and about 5 minutes away.

Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana
Date of Stay:
July, 2014 -
$31.00
Overall Rating:
Rate is a weekly Good Sam price. The rating would be a 10 but they did not have a pool. Wonderful, pleasant, helpful workers, nice and spacious sites, beautiful flowers throughout the park, gravel sites with paved roads, easy access to and within the park, all make this a great park to stay overnight or longer. Missoula has a lot to do with a wonderful farmers market. The campground has musical entertainment and ice cream on Wednesday nights. There is some train noise but not overpowering. We would stay here again. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana
Date of Stay:
July, 2014 -
$41.00
Overall Rating:
A picture perfect, well kept campground. Access is good even for a big rig. Sites are terraced but level; roads and sites gravel. Hookups well taken care of and easy to use. Plenty of grass around campground. Walking trails everywhere. Owners very helpful and out working around but not intrusive. Golf range but bring your own balls. The reason this is a 9 not a 10 because there is no cable or local TV....satellite reception only. WiFi is a bit slow as well. We would stay here again ... Good for overnight as well as a longer stay. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.
