Reno Silver Sage RV Park, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stay away! This could be fine if it didn't have about a quarter monthly residents with about 5 of them almost hilariously trashy except they may be next to you! I asked the terribly unfriendly woman at the desk about this and her response was that she had told these people several times but since they were monthly she couldn't do anything about it! If you do decide to stay here, do not press the white gate button more than once!!! When I pressed it a second time after about 5 seconds, when the unfriendly woman came to the gate she told me that there was nothing available since I pressed the button twice! She relented but never lost her attitude. If you stay here, try to get a spot away from the trashed sites and don't do anything to tick off the woman at the counter, she may kick you out! We camped at Reno Silver Sage RV Park in a Truck Camper.

San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

There didn't seem to be many choices for parks in the SF area and this one has a location that makes it easy to visit the City (San Francisco). When the weather is good the location is absolutely gorgeous! More typically the area is socked in with fog or low clouds. The pull-through sites for big rigs are the tightest I've ever seen. Lines are painted on the pavement to identify the site boundary and my neighbors and I were in our sites with about one foot from the edge of our slides to our boundary lines! I had to turn sideways to get between my rig and my neighbor, I guess RVs didn't have slides when the park was laid out. It's really way too tight to spend that kind of money but what are you going to do? I think we will look for another place next time we visit SF, but we would probably return here if we couldn't find a more suitable park. We camped here in a 39' rig with slides on both sides. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Badlands Interior Motel & Campground, Interior, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

A very enjoyable place to stay that is very close to the entrance of the Badlands park and the "town" of Interior. Nothing fancy but priced right and run by a very nice family that started it up many years ago. Wi-Fi was available, but you need to be in one of the sites close to the office. Rates were $16 dry camping, $22.50 full hookups with 10% off for Good Sams, AAA, etc. We camped at Badlands Interior Motel & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
