All About Relaxing RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is less than 1 year old and is in excellent condition with a pool, laundry and shower bath facilities. The ownership is taking care to keep the facility an exceptional campground that is heads and shoulders above any RV camping property within a 50 mile radius. An excellent plus rating. We camped at All About Relaxing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Creekwood Resort Campground & Cabins, Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very, very nice campground. Great location to visit northern Georgia and even close enough to go to Atlanta on a side trip. The roads are paved. The owner helped my husband back the RV into our spot. He said that her directions were great and he had no trouble getting the RV in its location. It was so peaceful here. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here for 2 weeks so the rate averaged out to $39 per night. We camped at Creekwood Resort Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Dauphin Island Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Would not stay here again. The campground looks like a junkyard. Campers are there for the entire summer months and are allowed to keep boats, water toys, chairs etc outside. We did not even sit outside because there was not a nice view, just our neighbors' mess. When we arrived at our campsite, we called back to to office and asked to switch to the campsite next to ours, since it would have better accommodated our motorhome. We were not allowed to move, even though the sign inside the office said that they can't guarantee a site. When I later inquired about this, I was told that the person who came in on that site needed it. Not true. They were in a fifth wheel, and actually would have fit better on our site. We too were charged a maintenance fee just as the earlier camper mentioned. In fact, we must have been on the same site because we had an opened bag of charcoal just siting on the ground. I don't know what they do with the maintence fee, they surely don't use it to pick up trash in the campground. We camped at Dauphin Island Campground in a Motorhome.
