Lake Myers RV & Camping Resort, Mocksville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We made reservations 4 months ahead of time, but when we got there, our space was taken. We were shoved to the very back of the park, far away from the pools. We did not even get an "I'm sorry". Other campers told us that this was typical. When our site did not have a picinic table, I called from a cell phone to ask for one, and was told, "I will let someone know". After we did not get one, I went to the office to ask, and was told that the park was out of tables. The park pavilion was overflowing with free tables. We ended up taking one from another site after other campers left. Because of the location we had to rent a golf cart at $45 per day or $40 if you kept it more than one day. We kept it 2 days and went back to renew for an extra day. The staff charged us $45 instead of 40, stating that we had to turn it back in and start over. Overall, the staff was rude. Paddle boats were in bad repair, one water boggan was closed and 5 of 7 days one of the swimming pools was closed. We camped at Lake Myers RV & Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
