We ended up staying at Sugar Creek Glen as our attempt to stay at another park was awful. We had a week of 90 degree heat and found ourselves running the motorhome generator much of the day. Moving down the street to Sugar Creek Glen upgraded us to electric sites along with site water. While this was our second stay at Sugar Creek Glen we were glad to see new owners this year. This is a gorgeous park alongside a creek which just needed some TLC to make it spectacular. The new owners were just what the park needed. They went out of their way to meet our request for a site right on the creek. This was important as our two girls enjoyed playing in the stream. It was nice having the kids in our view throughout the day. It also made it easy for the whole family to enjoy our daily walk up the creek to the multiple falls. We also enjoyed the weekend activities of Christmas in July. This presented a visit by Santa, small gifts for the kids, and a large camp fire. We enjoyed the time talking to all of the campers. Comments by the seasonal campers were very supportive of the new management and maintenance of the park. Our impression of everything was similar. We certainly look forward to coming back again next year to see further updates to a wonderful campground. Roads were slightly narrow matching previous reviews; however, we could easily maneuver our 35 ft motorhome without difficulties. We camped at Sugar Creek Glen in a Motorhome.

My family (wife, two daughters & dog) have camped at dozens of locations for the last two summers. We were excited to visit this campground following one of our best experiences at Jellystone, Java, NY. What a disappointment!!! We stayed in this park 5 nights, and this was too long. It started upon check in when the our greeter in the golf cart was very unfriendly. We were given strict orders not to use a "reel" leash, and only walk the dog to and from the dog area, not around the park. My kid’s heart were broken and the dog had to be crated much of the time when we left the campsite. A few times we deviating slightly from the walk to the dog area such as going to the rest room or store and were strictly reminded we were NOT allowed in the location with the dog. Unbelievable as the park was empty and no others were around. Believing everything is done for a reason, I questioned a long term worker about the policy and she had no idea when the policy began and had no explanation why the policy was strictly enforced. I cannot rate this park low enough for not being a pet friendly park. Another surprise was the pool and bathrooms. There was no ventilation and the stalls were growing mold in all the corners. The pool was very cold and dirty. Really no chairs were around when watching the kids. The only positive from the experience was the river running right behind the motorhome. This park has the potential to be a very nice park if new owners came in revamped the campground and ran it similar to Jellystone, Java. I will never go back to this campsite and shame on Jellystone for allowing a kid and pet unfriendly location!!!! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Mexico NY in a Motorhome.

My family have camped at dozens of locations for the last two summers. We were excited to visit this campground after reading about this park on AAA and the Yellowstone National park Directory. We stayed in this park four nights, and wish we had another week. We were led from the gate to our site by a staff member in the golf cart. We were very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the site. There were tons of activities for the kids and a pet area to allow the dog to play. The children loved the lake, boating, pool, water park and laser tag. I must say this was the very first camp area where the kids were so busy outside with activities they had little time to play games with the wife and I. We had loads of time to relax and read. Although one of the more expensive parks, I rate this a 10. A very good time for the entire family. We camped at Jellystone Park of Western New York in a Motorhome.
