Movietown RV Park, Canton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Everything that was said before on previous reviews, I do agree with . . . EXCEPT: There is absolutely no WIFI. We parked in a site next to the WIFI antenna and even with that and several calls to the office (with no call back), still no WIFI. I went to the office and she said they had "rebooted" the system, and would do it again . . . still no WIFI. They say they have "WIFI at the sites"; not true. For this and no response from the office, I give it a poor rating. We camped at Movietown RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park), Sun Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

There is no one to supervise or secure the campground at night. The one person staff left at 4 pm. There was no WIFI until the next morning when she "rebutted" the system, and even then it was not connecting. She said to go to the office area it we could not connect at our site. We did that; still no WIFI. The park is titled "Resort" . . . what constitutes permission to give the title of "Resort" to this campground? Early evening as I was walking our dog, a camper pulled in and asked if it was "safe" to camp here! Dilapidated old motel rooms and half torn buildings still exist on the grounds. Pass this one by. NO . . . I don't think it is safe. And, the office doesn't even return your calls. We camped at Sun Valley RV Resort (formerly Root 66 RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Futters 4 Oaks RV Park, White Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park is not listed on any camping websites. We were referred to the park by another RV park. What a gem!! A small lovely hometown park. We stayed for 2 weeks as we were waiting for the snow to thaw on our driveway up north. This park has the basics, but the basics are wonderful. Friendly owner! We enjoyed the other campers as they basically came in only for an overnight stay. Easy access off I-75, not far north from I-10. Only 10 minutes to Lake City. 5 minutes to the quaint town of White Springs. This is more of an adult park as it has no pool or activities for children. They do have a small club house. This is also a pet friendly park. Our site was a pull thru, long enough for a 40' 5th wheel toy hauler and truck . . . plus a ramp/porch. WIFI was exceptionally great! The sites are grass and the roads are gravel. We defiantly will return! We camped at Futters 4 Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The 1892 General Store in White Springs and have some BBQ at Fat Belly's in White Springs also! And . . . be sure to visit Lake City for modern shopping and restaurants. The Steven Foster State Park is near by, and the Suwannee River.

Hidden Valley RV Resort, Tijeras, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflects a Passport America discount; 30 amp. This was just an overnight stay for us. One lane road up to the campground. Not sure what would happen if someone was leaving the campground at the time we were arriving. We were in an older section and the sites were not level and very close. Laundry is new. Easy on and off the interstate. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Double D RV Park, Texola, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflect a Passport America rate for 30amp. You get what you pay for and at $12 you can't beat the rate or the park for an over night stay; it beats a Walmart parking lot. There is nothing around the campground, except a good local restaurant you can walk to. Easy on, easy off the interstate. Grass and gravel sites. We have stayed here twice. We camped at Double D RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflects a GS discount. This is a wonderful campground when visiting the Little Rock areas. The campground is just a gravel parking lot, but it sits on the beautiful grassy, tree lined banks of the Arkansas River. The pull thru sites are a little close and facing each other. Great WiFi and hookups. We were able to get all the major network TV channels over our antenna. You can walk everywhere, or take the local trolley. The River Market District is wonderful with all kinds of shops and restaurants. At night be sure to watch the bridges come alive with beautiful colored lights which are all viewed from your camp site! We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects Passport America. Great area to visit and stay for awhile. Free newspaper and coffee every morning! I gave it a 9 only because they need to weed their gardens at each site, otherwise it would have a 10. Also, check in staff could give out a smile now and then. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Passport. This park is a gem for the money. We stayed 3 nights this time, and have stayed here before. Be sure to see if you can get a pull thru, but the park has plenty of other great back-in sites. Great small park. We camped at Sun & Fun RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Newberry Mountain RV and Motel Park, Newberry Springs, California

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A bit over priced for the area. Friendly staff. Small RV Park out in know where on the old Rte 66, but very nice for overnight. Great pool to cool off in, as you are traveling in the area of the Mojave Desert. We stayed two nights. Had lunch at Peggy Sue's Nifty 50's Diner. Afternoon in Barstow, CA. We camped at Newberry Mountain RV and Motel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great price for the area. The park is basic, We stayed here a few days and then stored our camper here while we took a cruise. Worked out great.
