Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Pirateland in June 2006 for a week, I must say I was disappointed, the grass needed mowing, there were several ant hills on our site, the site's are very small and cramped, the staff we dealt with were nice, the place is over run with unsupervised children and teen, I have a child and I understand what comes with that, but that is no excuse for Lazy Parents, that want a "Break" they are "Your Little Darlings" so deal with them, I know this is not really up to the CG, but I do feel the rules should be enforced a little better, the other problem was the dog people would not take there dogs to the Dog Walk area and they did not clean up after them, I understand the dog walk was a good distance away from most camp sites, but owners should at least clean up after their pet. All in all we did enjoy our vacation but will be more careful about when and if we visit again. We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
