Clean, wide open spaces, wide driveways, and very friendly and helpful staff. Good dog facilities, excellent Wi-Fi. We arrived to a beautiful sunset followed by a clear star-filled night sky. Would stay here again. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sandy Lake RV Park, Carrollton, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park was clean, but there were many permanent residents who had junk around their trailers. Spaces were cramped, and a little hard to manuever. No fenced dog area. The staff and residents were very friendly; it was a very quiet and a good neighborhood. I would stay here again. We camped at Sandy Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very clean, friendly staff. Large spaces with a nice clean lighted fenced dog area. Fairly noisy with highway so close, but all the parks are close to the highway here. Would stay again. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

Midessa Oil Patch RV Park, Odessa, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Apparently we were lucky to get a site, the entire area for 200 miles is booked solid with oil field workers. The air stinks like oil, and management gave us a case of water when we arrived, telling us that the state declared their water polluted and it was not drinkable. That said, the park was very clean, even though there were many permanent residents. Wonderful fenced grassy dog area. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again if I were forced to drive through Odessa again. We camped at Midessa Oil Patch RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and friendly. Staff was excellent and let us know all about how to get to old Santa Fe and which sights we should see. Bus ride to Santa Fe sort of sketchy, it's not a tourist bus so you have lots of colorful locals on there with you. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Very clean and quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Wish we could have tried out their home-cooked food, but no time. Large spaces, beautiful night sky. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Motorhome.
