This was one of our favorites for awhile because its close and fun for our grandchildren, not anymore. New ownership at Boomtown and they do not care about this park it seems. Park staff amazing but not enough staff and it makes it hard for the staff there to keep up. Security and office staff, there is no one to clean up park and no one to make sure rules are followed. People speed thru here like a freeway, dog poop everywhere, garbage left in sites when guests leave. Park staff stretched thin. We noticed big changes at casino facilities as well. Downhill fast. On positive note, all utilities work including cable, wrap hoses in winter. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Travel Trailer.

This is not a big rig friendly park and almost not a medium rig park either. People are parked in here like sardines. I came in alone and had a heck of a time maneuvering in here and management was not helpful at all and instead made fun of my unsuccessful attempts to get in a tiny spot. Park is clean and one of the ladies at the front desk is very helpful and kind, nice laundry facility. I got a better space and deal somewhere else, they also nickel and dime you to death, felt like because i was a woman on my own management tried to sell me services I did not need. Will do my homework better next time. We camped at Shamrock RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is our staycation park. We live 30 minutes away and try to come here once a month summer and winter. If you get a card from the casino above the park, they send coupons so we get 4-5 free nts a month and its worth it especially in summer. Great lakes for kayaking nearby, our grandson loves the fun center(coupons for that too), kids can ride bikes here, playground, dog friendly, all kinds of shopping not far away (Cabelas across the street). Park is a basic park, yes, but adequate. Cell service problems are not the parks, it's the carriers. This is a tough area for service, but be patient as it comes in great eventually, we know it's just the area. Some fulltimers stay here, but mostly for winter, summer not so much. Friendly folks, park has security and I see them thru here constantly and we like that especially at night, we have never had anything stolen outside like we have at other parks nearby in town at bigger casino parks near the river. Hookups all good, some road noise but not loud, trains but not constant, did not wake us. We will be back again soon till snow says no. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Travel Trailer.
