Seashore Campsites & RV Resort, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access to campsites, plenty of family activities, close to Cape May NJ, paved roads, many pull throughs, clean pool, cabin rentals. We found that rules were not being enforced this year as in the past; bike riding in prohibited places, unleashed dogs, rowdy kids unsupervised, drinking and smoking in pavilion and snack bar area, speed limits not observed even by some of the workers. The park was very crowded but that should be more of a reason to enforce rules for the safety and comfort of the campers; rental cabins are quite new and convenient for larger families. We camped at Seashore Campsites & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA), Florence, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The only positive comment I can make is that this campground is very accessible from I-95 and is easy to get into. The sites are dirt...patios intermittently. The pool was opened and looked clean, but no one was swimming. Contrary to their ad in the Good Sam book, there is NO cable, so be prepared. When it was KOA , there was cable. We were able to get a few antenna channels. People do not pick up after their dogs and to make matters worse, there are geese roaming the park and leaving their waste behind. The sidewalk to the registration building had geese waste on it and I almost stepped in it. Definitely not a destination campground. We will not return to this campground. We camped here in a motorhome. We camped at Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA) in a Motorhome.

Lumberton / I-95 KOA, Lumberton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very impressed with this KOA. The owners are so accommodating and have worked hard to beautify this campground. The sites are spacious, clean, and well-landscaped. There is a dog park which came in handy after 3 hours of traveling. The pool looks well-maintained although it wasn't opened at this time of year. Very easy access to the park from I-95. Also very easy to maneuver a 43 foot motorhome throughout the park. Picnic tables at all sites and the roads are all paved with stone. All the sites are pull-through. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lumberton / I-95 KOA in a Motorhome.
