University Station RV Resort, Auburn, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved for a two night stay, non-game weekend. Drove through hundreds of empty, parked RVs, obviously "permanent" tailgaters - to the office. One person who couldn't assign a space to us. Phoned for instructions, gave us a spot. We followed directions to a series of back-in spaces that we were told to utilize as a pull-through (we'd requested a pull through on the phone). Was not easy to do because of placement of sewers and water. We shared the experience with another couple who had been assigned "our space" as well. Park was quiet, dumpster looked like it hadn't been emptied since the last game weekend. Definately doesn't qualify as a resort in our minds. Does not seem amenable to overnighters in our estimation. We camped at University Station RV Resort in a Motorhome.

White Springs RV Park, White Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 25 foot C-class when Stephen Foster State Park was fully booked. For the money - full hook ups trump being inside the state park and having to drive approx 2 miles into White Springs. Park is incredibly neat and tidy. Interesting statuary tucked in amongst the trees and shrubs. Owners extremely friendly and welcoming. No over-air TV reception, but that's not at all unusual for this area. Closeness to Hwy 137 now an issue from sound or traffic. Very peaceful. Sites are level and very spacious. A wonderful stop. We camped at White Springs RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Closest "real" shopping in Live Oak or Lake City (about 15 miles). There is a good Dollar General in White Springs and one restaurant (Fat Bellys)
