Cape May KOA, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This place was the worst. I booked for 15 days but left 2 days early because we couldn't stand it anymore. The main breaker to our section of the campground tripped multiple times in our stay. Even when the power was on, I would have to shut off the A/C to run the toaster or microwave because the voltage dipped so low neither would work. The "modern bathhouses" are falling apart and sewage backed up in them on 2 occasions during our stay. Mosquitoes were a major problem 24/7 and my kids look like they have had an outbreak of chicken pox even though we used deep woods off constantly. Hornets at the lake were a nuisance and the swim platform was covered in gull droppings. Pool is old and bottom is flaking off. The only positive thing we observed was that the employees were pleasant. There is a reason why this campground was not listed in my Woodalls book. Avoid at all costs We camped at Cape May KOA in a Travel Trailer.
