Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

located just outside of the downtown. Older park, a little tight, but they help you back in. Concrete patio, very flat, partly shaded. We had toad problem and needed to extend an extra day, and they were able to move reservations around so that we did not have to move. Very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Santa Fe. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Lightner Creek Campground, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice. We pulled in to a creek side site, plenty of room, easy to level. Only ding is it is very steep coming off the highway, forcing you to lock your brakes and transmission, or remain in the seat while your spouse goes in to check in. They have no other space to arrive. Exit was the same way in, but no problem. Except for this, the owners were most helpful and friendly, and offered plenty of ideas and suggestions. Aside from entry and exit, a very well run, quiet, and comfortable campground. Despite the entry, we would definitely stay here again if we get back to Durango. We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Four Seasons RV Resort, Salida, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Great sites overhanging the Arkansas River. Fishermen floating down right behind the motorhome. Sites were a little short, but doable. Dirt and gravel site, very clean. Salida is a nice little prosperous town to spend a day or two. Having the river right behind our river site makes for a wonderful stay. We stayed here 13 years ago, and we excited to return. We camped at Four Seasons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Centennial RV Park and Campground, Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Most friendly staff, and helped me add air to a low tire, filled my propane, and provided a very large site for my motorhome and dingy. All sites are very long, would fit any size combo. They drag the gravel roads and sites, very well taken care of. Wishes we could have stayed a few more days. Highly recommend this campground if you will be visiting the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Ridgeway, or up to Ouray or Silverton, or Telluride. Half way between Montrose and Ridgeway. Quiet. One of the nicer campgrounds we have experienced this trip. We camped at Centennial RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough park. Road construction made entry and exit confusing. Returning from El Paso was very difficult. Gravel sites, clean, not too noisy, good for an overnight, but would be too dusty to stay for very long. Facilities seem nice. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Quiet on the north side of the park; south side is near the highway and noisy. Sites were rocked, with grass dividers and some trees. Exercise room was adequate. Staff was friendly. Offered to turn the hot tub on if we wanted to use it. Not too many choices in camping near Dallas, and we chose this as being somewhat near SMU. Turns out it is 45 minutes or more depending on time and traffic. All in all, an OK park. Didn't feel like it lived up the it's trailer life ratings! We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Austin Lone Star RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, older campground. Sites were level, with older trees for shade, somewhat making entry and leaving a little close. Although near the highway, the trees knocked out most of the noise. We enjoyed our visit, and would stop here again. Escort to your site. We camped at Austin Lone Star RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Colonia del Rey RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Well cared for campground. Most sites are concrete. A number of long term renters. Bathrooms are nice enough, and the laundry is very nice. The pool is solar heated, which means it was cold. Hot tub was not working the first 2 days we were here. Relatively quiet, a little road noise. Very convenient for entry to Mustang Island or North Padre Island. Shopping convenient. Would stay here again. We camped at Colonia del Rey RV Park in a Motorhome.
