Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$38.00
Overall Rating:
We were traveling and looking for a site around Nashville. Something was going on in Nashville and every RV park we call was full. We called here and found that they had one site for the night. It was a long pull thru and we didn't have to un-hook. Easy access from the I-24. Nice clean park with level sites. Since we were just staying for the night we didn't use any of the facilities. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. We will stop here again as we travel through this area. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Many resturants just south of I-24.

Camelot RV Campground, Poplar Bluff, Missouri
Date of Stay:
December, 2017 -
$35.00
Overall Rating:
Stopped here for just an overnight stop. Had a long pull through site which was level. It was long enough that I didn't have to in-hook and still had room to park a car behind the RV. Power and water was both good. They had cable and WIFI but I didn't use it so cannot comment on that. There were several long term RV there but they were clean and quite. I would stay here again if in the area. It's near Hwy 60 and there was some truck noise but not bothersome. We camped at Camelot RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stanton / Meramec KOA, Stanton, Missouri
Date of Stay:
October, 2017 -
$45.00
Overall Rating:
OK for a stopover which is what we did. It is a little pricy. Most of the pull-thru sites filled up. Close to I-44 and easy access. Pull-thru sites were reasonably level and plenty long. They have food available in office which was ok. No other place to eat near the park. Wifi didn't work very well as It was slow and I kept getting disconnected. Not a big problem as I have my own hotspot. Probably won't sty here again mainly because of price. We camped at Stanton / Meramec KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
Cosest gas station and restaurants were about 8 miles down I-44.

Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois
Date of Stay:
March, 2016 -
$35.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here as a overnight stop. Because of the construction the main route in was closed. I just followed my GPS and it got me here. I was a little surprised how many RV came in just as an overnight stop on a weeknight and this early in the year. There are a few seasonal RV here but they are neat. I would guess that during the summer this place is busy especially on a weekend. It is on a small lake. This is not the place we usually stay when traveling but offers another option when traveling this way. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Northgate RV Travel Park, Athens, Alabama
Date of Stay:
March, 2016 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
I stayed at this park once before and not much has changed except the cost went from 25 to 30 dollars. It's still a good spot for a overnight stop on the way north or south. All sites are Full hook-up pull thru. Plenty of room between sites so you're not sitting on top of your neighbor. As mentions in other reviews the water pressure requires a regulator. The WIFI was the best I've had anywhere. We camped at Northgate RV Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Interstate RV Park, Davenport, Iowa
Date of Stay:
August, 2015 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
This was just an overnight stop and was fine for that. I thought it was a little expensive for that but it is easy to get to from I-80. It poured rain right after we got there and streams of water ran through the campground. Would probably stop there again if in the area just because of the convenience. We camped at Interstate RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an excellent place to stay when visiting the area. I agree with everything the previous poster said. This was just an overnight stop and we wanted a pull thru and all of the pull-thrus were 30A water and electric only which was fine for a one night stop. We camped at Margaret MacNider Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Falls Stay N Play, Thief River Falls, Minnesota
Date of Stay:
August, 2015 -
$21.00
Overall Rating:
This is a great park for visiting this area. Sites were large and well maintained. We stayed in the older section which had cable and wifi which was weak but usable. Rate reflects weekly rate with PA discount for three nights. It is located where you have to drive through the fuel station in front of the park but it is easy to access. There is a Go-Kart track right next to the sites so it can get a little noisy when they are running especially if you have a site next to the track. We enjoyed our time here and would return again when in the area. We camped at Falls Stay N Play in a Fifth Wheel.

Irvington Campground and RV Park, Menomonie, Wisconsin
Date of Stay:
August, 2015 -
$28.00
Overall Rating:
We stopped here for an overnight stay. I have a large RV and truck. When I called I asked for a pull through. When we arrived they had a pull through. The Host was very friendly and walked me to the site before I pull around to the site. It looked very tight but looked doable. I made it in but was very tight for the slide out. Close to trees on both sides. There are site of various size so call and ask if they can accommodate your rig. Not a large park and there are several seasonal sites. We camped at Irvington Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Suwannee River Rendezvous, Mayo, Florida
Date of Stay:
March, 2015 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
Very nice park though a little out of the way. Sites were large and very clean. Though the park was full over the weekend it was very quiet. As mentioned by others the office is in the older section and away from the new sites. Don't drive down to the office. Call ahead and get your site number so you can go set up and then go to the office and register. I would suggest calling to make reservations as we called a day ahead and was told we got the last site. The fee represents a Passport America discount for two nights and one night at regular price. We will stay here again whenever we are in the area. We camped here in a fifth wheel. We camped at Suwannee River Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

Leisure Time RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia
Date of Stay:
November, 2014 -
$18.00
Overall Rating:
This was just an overnight stop. The lady in the office when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. The site was what they called a pull through. It was basically the driveway right next to the office. It was a full hook up site and the utilities were good. It was level. We did not unhook and were level. Because we were right next to the office the heat pump for the office area was right next to our bedroom slide out and ran off and on all night.
Most of the other sites in the park were occupied by long term rigs. Other then the heat pump running the park was quiet.
As this was just an overnight stop we did not use any of the facilities. For the price we would consider it again for a quick overnight stop. We
camped at Leisure Time RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:
There should be more parks like this. Reasonably priced and perfect for an overnight stop. Friendly owner, All pull-thru full hook-up sites and very easy access from I-65. Water pressure is high and we were told we should use a regulator which I do anyway. We will stay here again when we pass this way. We camped at Northgate RV Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.
