Prospect RV Park, Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$35.00
Overall Rating:
Very decent park with really friendly staff. Very quiet at night. Laundry room was really nice, very clean, only $1.25 to wash & dry, & had a TV, VCR, & huge video library to watch! Bathrooms had shower & sink in them & are cleaned a few times daily. The back fence backs up to community park, trails, lakes, playground, & more. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.
Costco, grocery, Sprouts, Super-Walmart, Goodwill, & many restaurants within 5-10 minutes.

Burlington RV Park, Burlington, Colorado
Date of Stay:
May, 2018 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
This is a great overnight stop. Easy in & out & convenient to highway. The park is in 2 parts, separated from each other. We stayed in the new section that is all new pull through sites. There are no facilities in this section only full hookups. There is WiFi available. The owners are wonderful! We camped at Burlington RV Park in a Motorhome.
Downtown is a few blocks away. There is a really cool old theater, a post office, & other shops.

Overall Rating:
Very nice park. Staff was very kind & helpful & even received mail for us. There was train whistle during night. Very busy Park and was full the last week of March! They had an area to park our car trailer. We camped at Asheville East KOA in a Motorhome.
Downtown Asheville was really fun! Lots of stores & restaurants only 20 minutes from camp including a Trader Joe's. There was a really nice & big Ingles Grocery just down the road & downtown Swanannoa was a blast. Walked all over & visited many art shops, unique clothing shops & a great local coffee shop.

Adventures Unlimited, Ocoee, Tennessee
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$22.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here for a week & were the only campers except for weekend. We loved the quiet! Staff is very kind! Only water & electric hookup but dump station easily accessible. There is a bar in the campground with live outdoor music when weather is good but they were very respectful & shut down before midnight. No complaints! Would definitely recommend & stay here again. We camped at Adventures Unlimited in a Motorhome.
You can find everything you need & many good restaurants just 15 minutes away in Cleveland.

The park is nice, clean & quiet. No highway noise here. Our site was right on a lovely creek! Staff was very kind. Website clearly states only water & electric hookups. You dump on leaving. They also had convenient parking for our car trailer. I would definitely recommend to others. We camped at Oak Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Frank Gotch State Park, Humboldt, Iowa
Date of Stay:
June, 2017 -
$15.00
Overall Rating:
One of the nicest camp sites we've ever stayed in! Camp host was great. 2 week limit then must leave for 72 hours before moving back. NO RSVP's taken, 1st come, first serve so people paid for spaces all week but didn't show up till weekend. Pretty open during week but busy weekends & packed out holidays! Wifi didn't work but great Verizon coverage. Check website. Loved this place! We camped at Frank Gotch State Park in a Motorhome.
All major shopping stores were in Fort Dodge 30 minutes away. Humboldt is small but had grocery stores that closed Sunday's. Great walking trails around camp. FREE fire wood at camp!

Rosehaven Estates & RV Park, Apache Junction, Arizona
Date of Stay:
May, 2016 -
$17.00
Overall Rating:
Park is formerly Cherokee Village. This is a month to month park. No overnighters! We stayed 5 months & paid $484.50 mo. This is a very old park, mostly old trailers but there are 2 areas for just RV's. There are groups of people that return together every winter. All amenities are old & very worn. Bathrooms/showers are old but always very clean as is 2 laundry facilities. 2 pools. Office personnel were friendly but Keep Your Dog On a Leash! They can be nasty in this! Park was bought by big Corp & supposed to be making it nicer & gating it eventually they said. We won't return here again but look for a nicer park. Really like Apache Junction. Everything you need is close by. There are citrus trees all over park! Our spot had pink grapefruit & orange. But permanent residents are pretty stingy so ask before picking outside your campsite. We camped at Rosehaven Estates & RV Park in a Motorhome.
Starbucks & Walmart 5 minutes away. Costco, Trader Joes, 20 min. Lots of fun thrift stores & restaurants. Grocery store, Tractor Supply, & Goodwill across the street & can walk there. RV dealers, stores & repair all close.

Williston Village RV Resort, Williston, North Dakota
Date of Stay:
March, 2016 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
If you're stuck in Williston this is the best, newest, & nicest place to stay! We were there when the oil was flowing & paying $800 a month here! Since things slowed down they have lowered the rates. We have stayed here twice, 2 months then 8 months. Bathrooms & showers are new, clean & huge!!!!! As is laundry facility. Big & new but expensive as is everything else in Williston! Office staff changed over while we were there & new staff were more nazi-like with stricter rules. You can no longer keep your tow dolly or extra haul trailer on campsite but now they want to rent you another area to keep it. Campsites are medium size & DIRT & the wind does blow. They do take very good care of the park. Also, you can receive packages only here but NO regular mail so must get a PO box. We would stay there again if worked up there again. We camped at Williston Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Williston has lots of restaurants and a cute downtown district. Super Walmart, Albertsons & local City Market for food. A few nice coffee shops around. Check out Country Floral. It's a fun & beautiful home decor, greenhouse, & flower shop. & they sell truffles! Also check out the downtown "mall" with many nice little shops.
