Louisville North Campground (formerly Louisville Metro KOA), Clarksville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

You're escorted to your site - because the park is so tight that you need it! 37' motorhome and when we opened our slides we had to be careful as they almost touched the next door RV. Had to move picnic table to open the slides. Loud trains all night at the edge of the park, and planes land/take off overhead. On a positive note, the park is within minutes of Louisville and the staff is friendly. The location is the only reason this park is able to fill up - and the only reason I'd stay here again. We camped at Louisville North Campground (formerly Louisville Metro KOA) in a Motorhome.

St. Peters' 370 Lakeside Park, Saint Peters, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a city park with many activities. The RV park is on one end of the very large park. There is no shade. Sites are very level and are gravel. We had a pull through for our 37' motorhome. There was room for a tow car although we don't have one. I would definitely return to this easily accessible park. We camped at St. Peters' 370 Lakeside Park in a Motorhome.

Sharp RV Park, Saint Joseph, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small family-run park. At first, we listened for banjos, but were pleasantly surprised. Read some of the other reviews carefully, as this is a no-frills Park with mostly permanent residents. We requested and got a full hook-up pull thru, and it was a level gravel spot. We were able to put out all our slides, but not really room for chairs or a grill. Very convenient to I-29. It's a small park, so be sure you give your size when you call. I'd stay here again if passing through...it's quiet, safe and a good value. We camped at Sharp RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rundle Mountain Campground, Canmore, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

The 30 amp power was low voltage, 105amps!, so we ran our generator. Packed in like sardines. RVs had to move to let others in! RV next door cut tree and shrub branches so he could get into the site. I cannot believe they are still in business. Walmart is a much better choice, or a roadside rest area. There's no cable, and we couldn't raise the satellite because tree branches were on our roof. Very fuzzy one channel over air. There is water, and that's the ONLY positive thing I can stay. No dump. For that you need to visit the Alberta visitor center a mile away. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. We camped at Rundle Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is attached to a Days Inn, where the Inside waterpark, hot tub, pool and restaurant and pub are located. EZ off and on to I-94. Sites are fairly level gravel, with grass between. We were in a pull through. For out in the middle of nowhere, it's pretty good! Strong WiFi and the restaurant is a Country Kitchen, with a nice pub attached. We needed a respite from rain so spent 2 nights regrouping and doi;g laundry. The noise from the highway can't be heard inside the rig, and we'd stay again. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Truly the longest pull-thrus I've seen! Very well-kept Park, and fairly level for grass sites. Office only open from 2-6 pm on weekends...hard to make reservations. Pleaseant office staff. Although there are lots of tall pines, we were able to get satellite reception. The cable TV was kind of fuzzy picture. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Other that Turtle Beach in Sarasota FL, this is the best county park we've ever stayed in! Large, spotless, loads of activities, and friendly employees. Shuttle to downtown Charleston is $10./person/round trip - would definitely return and highly recommend. A real jewel. We camped at James Island County Park in a Motorhome.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Positive points - very convenient to I-40 and Asheville, and a level site with decent cable . That being said, we had to back UPHILL over a ledge (almost grounded the rig) to squeeze into a tiny site, backing into a dirt hill. Entire campground is on winding, very narrow roads, and there are trees on the sites that will scratch roof and sides of RVs. Rude clerk at check-in was rushing to pick up her child from daycare and told me to count sites to find ours - just waved in the general direction and handed me a map. Since we had requested a pull-through, we weren't happy to find out we didn't have one...had reserved over a month in advance. The sites are so tiny that we had to ask 2 neighbors to move their tow cars so we could pull out. (They arrived after we did). There isn't enough room for cars at the sites, so they were parked blocking us in. ( very kindly agreed to drive away so we could get out of our site). We think this is pretty outrageous. I took our trash to the fenced area, and was surprised to see trash bags outside the fence...until I got there and saw there were no barrels! Disgusting. I believe in never saying never...but have no plans to return here, nor do I recommend it. Better "camping" at Walmart! We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, helpful staff. Spotless park. They groom each site when a rig leaves! Pool and spa nice. Shaded park. Close to downtown and on a public bus line. Follow their directions to avoid bottoming out on RR tracks. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Poorly maintained park - shabby, peeling paint, broken tables. No hot water in the showers in main restrooms. Waiting for new washers, so couldn't do laundry. Unheated pool, site hookups (water and sewer) in poor condition - our water leaked and we had to get a maintenance man to turn the spigot it was so tight! Think we should have been told about the hot water and washer situation before we paid, or given a discount. We have stayed in KOAs across the country, this was the worst. Won't return. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Motorhome.

Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is located across the street from Graceland. Rate includes parking at Graceland ($15 for RVs) the day we left, so consider it a bargain. Good TV reception and well stocked store. Elvis music played on speakers - fun! Nice pavilion for cooking, but it was too cold to use the pool. Don't go to Marlowe's for BBQ, very touristy, not very good. I'd return to park, it was fun! We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great view of MS River! Large (3"+) gravel, which made walking in campground difficult. Only 4 combo bathrooms/showers. Not enough for this large a park! Wifi only in office building. Good antenna TV reception. Drive through a sketchy neighborhood to get here, but felt safe. Would return. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Grandma's RV Camping, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a week as part of a KY Derby rally. Friendly office staff, clean restrooms, although ladies has no hooks and only one communal curtain. I was the only one using it, so no problems. Wi-Fi a little weak. Was able to get all local networks on antenna. Would return. Rate higher, special event. We camped at Grandma's RV Camping in a Motorhome.
