Armstrong Kin RV Park, Armstrong, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a tight and very unlevel RV Park. When I called and spoke with the man who runs the place I was told that he only had back-in sites, but that I wouldn't have any trouble getting parked. He said that they were very wide open. When we got there the lady said that she'd give me a pull-thru spot. The spot was incredibly slanted down and away from the street. When parking your RV you have to nose out into a busy street. The site was so unlevel that we never could get the 5th wheel anywhere close to level. Fortunately we were only there for one night. The RVers that were beside us scraped up against a tree trying to get shoe horned into their spot. I would not recommend this park to anyone who has an RV over 30'. We camped at Armstrong Kin RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Valemount Pines Golf & RV, Valemount, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is terrific little RV park in a wonderful alpine setting. This is probably the most beautiful area that we've ever stay in. The park is wide open, easy to get around in and very well taken care of. All of the utilities worked well, even the Wifi worked as well as one could expect in an RV park. We highly recommend this park. We camped at Valemount Pines Golf & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Daisy May Campground, Fort Macleod, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This probably is the dirtiest little RV Park that we've ever stayed in. There are warning signs all around the park about not speeding and kicking up dust, but their staff races around the park in golf carts kicking up clouds of dust. The Wifi was virtually nonexistent, but the other utilities seemed to work alright. There's no sewer for each site at this park, but there is an RV dump when you leave. The problem is that the dump station is situated so that you have to block the road in and out of the park when you dump your tanks. We didn't dump, we just went on to our next park and dumped there. All in all we didn't feel that there was much bang for the buck with this park. We camped at Daisy May Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hinton / Jasper KOA, Hinton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

The only down side to this park is the spacing and the tight interior roads. We really had to do some tight negotiating to get back out of the park. There's a community fire pit that was a lot of fun for people to sit around and visit. The views from the park are spectacular off to the west looking at Jasper National Park. We camped at Hinton / Jasper KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Glowing Embers RV Park, Edmonton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This a very large, but very nice RV Park. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our stay at Glowing Embers. The only down side was the weather. We had rain; hail, wind and thunder and lightning during our stay. Like most RV parks the Wifi is spotty, but the other utilities all worked flawlessly. This is a place to put on our "will stay here again" list. We camped at Glowing Embers RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View Camping, Calgary, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The park is older and a little tight for a larger RV. The electrical service was messed up at our site and our breaker for the 30 amp service was located three RV sites away. With only the toaster going the breaker kept tripping. The Wifi was very spotty and couldn't really be used at all. There's standing water just east of the park and the mosquitos were out in force. We camped at Mountain View Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA, Cranbrook, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Hands down the best RV Park that we've ever stayed in. Everything is new, clean and well maintained. The park is easy to get to and very easy to navigate around to your site. I can't say enough about the staff they were so helpful and friendly. If there was any complaint it would be that there Wifi was spotty. Any time were in the Cranbrook area we'll definitely stay here again. We camped at Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Rivers Canyon Resort, Moyie Springs, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

If there were any down side to this park it's the fact that it is at the bottom of a very long winding switchback dirt road down to the park. We didn't have any trouble getting down or back out with our 34' 5th wheel, but I can see where a large class A could have a few issues climbing out of such a hole. The park its self is beautiful, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Twin Rivers Canyon Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older RV park with sites that are not really conducive to slide-outs. We were able to navigate around in the park, but the pull-thru spaces are quite tight and not very long. The worst thing about this park is that it is right by a main east/west railroad track and the trains blast their horns often in the middle of the night. The park is actually quite clean and the utilities all worked very well. The WiFi was poor, but that's to be expected in a larger park. I called about an hour before we got to the park to confirm our reservation and it went straight to voice-mail which was full. Upon arriving at the park I told the gal that her voice-mail was full and she gave me a vacant stare and said "oh". She obviously didn't care. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dayton / Pomeroy / Blue Mountains KOA (AKA The Last Resort KOA), Pomeroy, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only RV park in the area, but we found it to be very acceptable. The roads in and around the park are dirt/gravel, but we had more than enough room to get into our campsite. The utilities all worked well, however there was no TV signal. The WiFi worked sporadically as we have found with most RV parks. If there were one complaint it would be that they let people into the park with huge dogs of which one was a Pit Bull. There were no incidents that I was aware of with these dogs, but with all of the small children around the park it made us nervous. On the positive side there are a lot of wild turkeys and even a band of Bighorn Sheep that mingle in and around the park. We camped at Dayton / Pomeroy / Blue Mountains KOA (AKA The Last Resort KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Kootenay River RV Park (Formerly Kootenay River RV Kampground), Castlegar, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for almost a week and loved it. It is an "adults only" RV park which was fine for the two of us. The location is great, right along the beautiful Kootenay River We had a long pull-through site and all of the utilities worked very well including the Wi-Fi. The people who ran the park were incredibly helpful and friendly. We camped at Kootenay River RV Park (Formerly Kootenay River RV Kampground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA, Cranbrook, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The park just opened this year. It's actually still under construction. All the utilities, being new, worked great. The staff was very helpful, they even put on a Christmas is July dinner for the guests. The park is very spacious and easy to maneuver around in. No matter if you have a pull-through or back-in site you won't have any trouble getting your rig parked. If I were say any negative about this park it would be that they've laid it out so all of the sites are facing the morning shade and the evening sun. It was quite hot when we stayed here and there wasn't any shade to be found in the evening. We camped at Cranbrook / St. Eugene KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice little RV park. The owners are probably the most friendly and helpful of any park we've ever stayed in. The park has wide open spaces and is very easy to navigate. The utilities all worked well, however there is no WIFI. The only down side to this park are the mosquitos. This is a beautiful region of the country and we would definitely stay here again. Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean little RV park with lots of grass and concrete pads for your rig. All of the utilities worked well. Not a lot of shade, which on a hot day would have been a problem, but it wasn't that warm the night that we stayed. My only complaint about this park is that it's pretty tight to get into and out of. Their are, what appear to be, full-timers that park their cars too close to the interior roads which makes it difficult to navigate. All in all it's a very nice park and if we were ever in the area we would stay here again. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a really nice RV park with lots of shade and green grass. Park was very easy to navigate around with our 5th wheel. Although we didn't use it, there's a BBQ restaurant at this RV park too.
