TripleBrook Family Campground, Blairstown, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I camped at Triple Brook and were pleasantly surprised. It was a beautifully kept campground. The bathrooms were clean and showers were pretty clean. They have a farm, row boats w/lake, two pools, hot tub, and many activities for the kids. Our site was shaded and spacious. The employees were very pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this campground to everyone. We will be going back again this month I am sure. We camped at TripleBrook Family Campground in a Tent Trailer.

The Great Divide Campground (formerly Green Valley Beach Campground), Newton, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

My family had one site our friends camped next to us with their family for the weekend. I was impressed by the scenic view of the campground. The camp office employee who checked us in was not friendly at all. We got to our site and had a great night. The next day we went to the lake and pool. Again the employee in the front office was rude. The campground like all others required your pets to be on a leash but two golden retrievers roamed freely alone through the pool and lake area. (I assume the owners)(NJ does have a leash law) Although I thought the campground itself was okay the bathrooms and showers were frightening. They were disgusting. The campground should be ashamed. One shower in each of three bathrooms. You had to pull a string to keep the scalding hot water on. My three year old was screaming as I attempted to try and bath her while holding her to keep her from touching anything. I would like to say I would go back but I have to say that because of the unfriendly service and the bathrooms I will not. We camped at The Great Divide Campground (formerly Green Valley Beach Campground) in a Tent Trailer.

Mount Pocono Campground, Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

I enjoyed tent camping at this campground. It was not a busy weekend and our site was shaded and private. The pool was a bit small and a bit dirty. The bathrooms were not finished from construction but were very clean. I did not enjoy the walk up and down a very steep hill to the camp store, rec area, pool, and bathrooms though. On our second day my son and I ran into a black bear who was very near the bathrooms. The employees were very friendly and overall we had a good stay. We camped at Mount Pocono Campground in a Tent.
