Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

ROTTEN SMELLING WATER 1. Water smelled like smelly fish. Other RVers also commented on it. 2. OVERPRICED for the facility 3. Tree limbs too low - had to break off some just to get into our spot #19 4. Spot acclaimed to accommodate a 45', but barely fit our 43' Noticed the sewer cap was buried under overgrown grass. We barely connected to the sewer because our 43' coach couldn't back up far enough as there was a hill behind it. 5. No room for adequate parking for tow vehicle 6. Very unfriendly-face-feeding staff at check-in. No "thanks for staying" and when telling her my husband was 100% DISABLED VET...no "thank you for your service". DISRESPECTFUL! 7. Site barely long enough for my rig to connect to sewer as there is a hill behind to prevent backing up. 8. We asked to move to another site so we could use our satellite dish as a large tree was blocking the reception and told NO, even though many sites available at the time. There was something on pay-per- view my husband wanted to watch that night and their cable service did not access the PPV channel 9. NO pull throughs. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Red Roof Inn & RV Park (formerly Best Western Motel and RV Park), Childress, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is no longer called BestWestern; now called RedRoof. 43'Motorhome towing. Did not have to disconnect. Stayed one night passing through. NO WATER, NO SEWER, NO DUMP STATION! Rep at desk did not know what utilities was available! 50/30amp! Grass. Road traffic within 50 yds. Overpriced for the value. Walmart close but not walking distance. About 1/4 mile away. At least we didn't have trees blocking our satellite dish so we enjoyed NLCS! Go Brewers! If there were others here, navigation would be very difficult. Unless you need power, save $26.00 and stay at Walmart 1/4 mile away. We camped at Red Roof Inn & RV Park (formerly Best Western Motel and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Lee Hi Campground, Lexington, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

They have about 7-8 pull thrus and numerous back in's. We decided on dry camp is huge parking lot. NO FEE FOR DRY CAMPING. The truckers stay here as well. Since we ran our generator all night, their generator noise wasn't an issue. There is a truck service center should you need help. A great rest area! Definya "do-over"! We camped at Lee Hi Campground in a Motorhome.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Staff friendly, clean spots, quiet, most spots looked level, WiFi was not the best but available. We stayed in spot #12 which was great pull through and very level. Not a lot a kids running around. Lobby was welcoming and had lots of DVDs to rent or borrow. A definite do over! We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Level (a priority for us!)! #53 site was back-in gravel. More than enough room for our 43' motorhome and tow car. 50 amp, great water pressure and sewer. WiFi was iffy. Walk to small-smoky slot casino with attached "non-smoking" sports bar and grill. New and very clean. Did not use restrooms, laundry, or cable. A great stop for the night as easy on and off I-80. Take exit 180 but if you miss it, take exit 178 turn around and go back to 180. A definite "keeper" RV spot! Interior roads nice and wide. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If there is a negative it would be the fact that porch side faces west, so no afternoon shade. So just have to sit on other side for shade until sun goes down; in the morning it is nice and cool!

Advanced RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed May 9-11, loving the level pads with adequate space between lots. Price includes elec.,water, sewer, cable and Wi-Fi. Nice pool, jacuzzi and clubhouse with small workout room. Full-timers seem to be separate from those of us staying for a few days. We had doctor appointment in Houston (30 min.away during rush hour) and a visit to NASA (30 min away during morning rush-hr). Clean and quiet. There is a nice dog park and was nice even though we don't have a dog! There was a negative at check-in; a no-friendly and no-greeting from a young woman. She needs to be away from public! Other than her, everything else just fine. We camped at Advanced RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Did not shop. NASA was about 30 minutes away and that was during rush hour traffic!

Location just off exit and traffic noise not an issue with me and I am usually sensitive to it!
