Hilltop RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Wide Pull through sites with patio and new picnic table. Everything here looks brand new. Very friendly check in. They even have grass in the dog park. This is definitely a great place to stay while traveling on I 10. A great value. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucson / Lazydays KOA, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

They are continually improving the facilities here at Lazy Days. There is a wide variety of sites to choose from depending on your desires and budget. I chose a site with grass and scrubs giving us privacy. Very nice. Everything here is clean and done correctly. They have changed their restaurant to a bar-b-que which was a disappointment but I am sure that other people were happy with the change. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here many years ago and decided to try it again because of the reviews. It is the same, if not worse. Old rigs with lots of "stuff" outside. Barbed wire around the outside. Some awnings hang over the next rig's slide out. Cheap, yes. Worth it, no. Area is very marginal. Next door are shipping containers and salvage parts from wrecked trucks, etc. Personnel not friendly at all. I am going back to Las Cruces on the way home. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Over 3 miles of hiking trails within their borders. Big meadow where the dogs can run. Everything is extremely clean and well kept. Laundry has plenty of washers and dryers. They even have their own coffee shop. These owners will do anything to make you happy. They are doing a fantastic job. I did not find the rules to be overbearing as stated in a previous review. It is time that someone said shut off your lights at night and don't obstruct the Night sky while you are inside. This area is very beautiful and I found my time here very relaxing and hope to return. It is not like a resort but worth a stop. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort, Sisters, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is definitely a 10 park. Immaculate. Beautiful grass and flowers. Lots of room. Utilities good. The only strange part is that they have tons of grass but also lots of signs saying keep your dog off the grass. The dog park they have is barren with not a blade of grass in it. Area is absolutely beautiful. Town of Sisters is nice and quaint. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Riley Store RV Park, Riley, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

It is just a stop in the road but a good overnight spot on the way to Bend. I had a pull thru and only 30 amps. Very windy up here so did not need both a/c's. Very level gravel with wide turnaround. We camped at Riley Store RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good choice for the area. Level gravel sites with 50 amps. Train track behind but only 2 trains came by during the day. Very nice people. Pull thru sites. Very quiet. My site had some grass. Nice little town with a great supermarket and it even has a coffee shop! We camped at Vale Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.

Intermountain RV Park, Wendell, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason it does not get a 10 is because it is not a resort. Very clean with lots of grass. Sites are large (did not have to unhook). Shaded with 30 amps, but I did not need to use 2 a/c's so it was fine. Very friendly checkin. They are also an RV service center should you need such services. I only stayed one night but after arriving I see that there are things to do in the area - Mammoth Caves and Shoshone Ice Caves, Shoshone Falls and Thousand Springs State Park. Next time I will stay longer and check them out! We camped at Intermountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed in many first class parks (Class A) and this has them all beat. I was in the adult section (S row) where it was all adult amenities. Sites are double wide concrete with great utilities. Dog park is immaculate; all grass and probably 1 acre. Roads are wide and easy to navigate. The front section is for families and it appears that they have everything a kid could possibly want. Live entertainment on Saturday night. The views around you are spectacular. So much to do in this area. Absolutely delightful stay. I highly recommend them. Worth every penny. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Country Rose RV Park, Fredonia, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park. Very quiet and clean. The back in sites all have grass and patio. Pull thrus have no grass but everyone has a patio. Owner is very nice and hands on. Good location as it is only a few miles into Kanab. Dog park is grassy and very clean. Utilities are placed appropriately and it has good 50 amp service and wi-fi. This was definitely a good choice. Overall Rating:

A good location if you want to travel to the north Rim for the day. Sites are tight, no grass and some of the pull thrus looked pretty unlevel. All this said, it is a good park for visiting the Canyon. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

Great park especially if you are taking the train or like to be close to downtown. Very clean and well kept. Check in was fast and easy. Left 2 dogs at the kennel for the day and was happy with outcome. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

First let me say that this resort is a 10 if you are looking just at amenities. It is very beautiful and right now it is very green. Everything is clean and well kept. That said, check-in was not friendly. The sites are extremely short and tight. Luckily, this time of year the park is fairly empty so there is no one in close proximity to my rig. If this park were full the rigs would be very close together and most parking would have to be offsite. As I am not one who uses the amenities, I did not find this to be worth the price. We camped at Emerald Desert RV Resort in a Motorhome.
