Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad place for Passport America. The only really down side it the noise from the planes taking off and landing. The lots are pretty level. The electric and water are good. Yes there are lots of full timer people here but do not bother you. The roads are narrow. Easy in and off to get here. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Movietown RV Park, Canton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad park. You better call ahead because most of the park are permanent campers. Elect and water was good. Was pretty quite. The camping sites could use a little leveling. Most of the park is gravel and the road into the park is tight if another big unit is coming the other way. The 2 speed bumps are quite high and bounce you all over the place even at 1 mph. The site next to me had dog droppings all over it and you had to watch when hooking up your water. The price was good. Not sure if I'd stay again if in the area. We camped at Movietown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Easy in and out and lots of room for parking. Lots of trees but that was not a problem for parking. Good elect and water. Nice bathrooms at the office, the other one was closed because of winter. Office staff very helpful. Will stay here again if in the area. Nothing bad to say about this place. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Spaulding Lake Campground, Niles, Michigan

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

All in all a nice park. Good electric but water pressure is a little low. Nice and quite but we are here at the end of the season and no one really here. Nice and big. My only complaint would to put gravel in the parking spots. Nice good long pull thru and pretty level. It is grass and get pretty wet in the rain. We would park here again if in the area. We camped at Spaulding Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+), Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is for a week. Nice quite park. Electric and water is good. Lots to do here in the area. No smell from the farm across the street. Everyone and staff are friendly and helpful. The lots are small and some are hard to get into with a long RV. The pull thru sites are not long enough to have your auto hooked up to. Only a few lower sites have trees so if you have a satellite for TV ask for a clear site. They will help you if they can. Place stays busy so reserve in advance. Would stay here again if in the area. Really a nice quite place. We camped at Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+) in a Motorhome.

Artillery Ridge Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Used passport America. Park is close to the battlefield. Friendly staff. Price is right for PA, high otherwise. Roads and spots are gravel and grass. Could use lots of repair. The WIFI is pretty bad in the far spots. We had a pull thru but they are so short that the car stuck out in the road. I think for the price you should get cable TV. Water and elect was good. Not a bad park just needs some road repair. We camped at Artillery Ridge Campground in a Motorhome.

Asheville West KOA, Candler, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Good clean park. Water and elect was good. Everyone friendly. The roads are tight but ok. Trees could be trimmed so they do not hit the rv. Roads are gravel and with all the rain needs some repair. Road noise is pretty bad. Price is a little high for me with what you get. Will not stay again. We camped at Asheville West KOA in a Motorhome.

We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us), Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park. Easy in and out. Good water and electric. Friendly staff. Not sure about the last evaluation but may have lots of permanent campers but most RV parks do now. No problem with them at all. Only have back-ins; that is why I gave it a 8. Going to put some in soon. Looks like a new park. I will stay here again if needed as I pass through this area. Have some trees and you can have your choice of spots. Good Wi-Fi. We camped at We RV Champions of Tyler (formerly RV Parks R us) in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park across the street from town. Wi-Fi worked good and good water pressure and electric was good. We stayed a month so price shows that. Not too close to other campers where we parked. Friendly owners. Lots are level. We would stay again. Have pot luck dinners once a week. Rate is based on monthly stay. We camped at Lost Eagle RV Park in a Motorhome.

Three Flags RV Park, Black Hawk, South Dakota

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

For the price not worth it. If it was raining you would be lucky to get in and out. Gravel road about a mile long to get to it and gravel sites that are not that level. Went to use the bathroom in the morning and they are locked. No WiFi unless you paid for it. At this price, you think you would have it. Will not stay here again. Lots of nicer places for lots less in the area. We camped at Three Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.
