Pendaries RV Resort, Rociada, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect, but this experience was even worse than ever. 50 amp service was available, but at a premium that we weren't advised of. No ota tv and no satellite signal could be received from our site. Roads were very dusty and we were routinely showered with dust which settled on everything. Anyone desiring to "get away" would probably be satisfied here if they were accepting of the rates. This will be our last visit here. We camped at Pendaries RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center, Divide, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely not for big rigs. The size of the site isn't representative of the size rig it will accommodate. Sites are very unlevel and maneuvering within the park is not easily done. With our 45' motor home, it was impossible without contacting untrimmed tree limbs. A turn around inside the park wasn't possible, and I had to back out thru the narrow entrance gate into the highway to leave. No 50 amp service and no big rig access to dump station. We camped at Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center in a Motorhome.

Definitely remote camping. Nice little grocery store in Divide.

Yellowstone Golf Resort, Ashton, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Certainly not adequate for a 45' motorhome. Some sites had gravel, ours had none. Our leveling pads sunk into soft soil, and we were unable to level the coach. We had to leave one day early because of rain forecast. Rain would have severely endangered our ability to extract our coach. Sites may be okay for smaller rigs, but definitely not bigger ones. Golf course was a real joke. Greens were basically just a flat space mowed shorter that the 3" long "fairways". Green fees were what you would expect to pay for a normal course. Definitely will not return. We camped at Yellowstone Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Rolling wheat and hay fields in all directions. RV sites were situated within an aspen grove, which provided shade but inhibited satellite reception. Very little phone service for AT&T. If you want remote, this is it.

Junction West RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Booked by phone for space for 45' motorhome with tow car. Park does not realistically accommodate big rigs. RVs were packed in so tightly that there was hardly room to get in or out. During the night, more RVs had parked directly in front of us which made it difficult to even drive out of our site. Their main interest was in getting as many RVs into the park as possible. We will not be staying here again. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.
