Creekside Mountain RV Park, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park has great location to Hill City, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park. Has all the basic full hook ups you need for a big rig and the lady (owner) is very friendly and helpful. For a big rig it is very tight to navigate in and you have to unhook your tow. Because of the way the utilities are placed you end up having to run sewer hose and power cord under the rig to the passenger side to get to the pedestal. Would stay here again mainly because of the location. We camped at Creekside Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is just off I-80 to the south about 1/4 mile. Very easy to find but for my rig with a tow was very tight to navigate in the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. My site was just long enough to accommodate my rig with tow. Site is gravel and no concrete patio. Good place for an overnight stop and would stay here again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Pine Grove RV Park and Campground, Greenwood, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on and off to the interstate although the service road from the interstate to the park was a little bumpy with potholes, so go slow on this.

Easy check in, very friendly staff with a nice little store and lounge. There were 3 coaches of us traveling together and of course it was one of those 95 degree days and when we got to our sites we all plugged in at once and turned on all the AC's and promptly blew the main circuit breakers for the entire section we were parked in. Got to hand it to the staff as they were quick on the problem and dealing with us frustrated campers as were were concerned about the power situation. They quickly had the power back on and we had to gradually turn on the airs one at a time in each rig so as not to duplicate the power surge again.

The manager was so nice she brought us a bottle of wine for the ladies and a beer (cold) for the guys. You just can't find better service than this. Didn't have anymore problems and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Amana Colonies RV Park, Amana, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The rate does not reflect the Passport discount. If you plan on staying here, would recommend making reservations well in advance as they have a lot of events and rallies at this very popular park.

Very easy to navigate to from the Interstate and the roads and sites in the park are large enough that you do not have to disconnect your tow. Staff always very friendly and they escort you to your site. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Just happened upon this place late in the day after we had left a previous park where we had reservations and the sites were too small for our rig. This place is a gem, would definitely be a destination place for someone wanting a nice long weekend especially if you have kids. The spaces are large with lots of shade and nice grass and the park was very clean. Lots of amenities, small store, propane for sale, and a putt putt golf course. Our site was a large pull-thru with plenty of room for coach and tow. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We always stay here when visiting family in Memphis area. Staff always very hospitable and accommodating. Park is very convenient to Interstate and entry and exit is no problem for a big rig with a tow. No trees, so the satellite works great although they do have a good cable system. Prior posts have complained about the Fedex plane departures early morning hours but either we have gotten used to it, as it doesn't seem to bother us. We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Salmon Arm Camping Resort, Salmon Arm, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park almost deserves a higher rating but for it not having concrete pads and it's small size. It is tight negotiating the entrance and spotting your rig on your camping site. Otherwise I would have given it a better rating. The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful as are all the other camping guests. It seems as if everyone that was staying there comes there quite often. The park advertises 2 pull-through sites but you would have to have a rig less than 30' to be able to park on the same site. Very clean and well maintained and would def stay here again. We camped at Salmon Arm Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Covered Wagon RV Park, Magrath, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quaint little park situated on the edge of small town of Magrath. Easily reached via great two lane roads and highways. The last hundred yards before entrance is gravel, smooth road but was not dusty. Once entering the park it is a little narrow and tight turns maneuvering to your campsite, but was doable hooked up with tow. Host was most friendly and you can wash your rig and tow with no extra charge. Campsites have concrete patios, fire rings, and 50 amp with water and sewer. Neat little museum on site that features old farm implements and a tour guide that you can walk through the park with that identifies all the old machinery. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Covered Wagon RV Park in a Motorhome.
