Henderson Beach State Park, Destin, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Another successful trip to a great campground. As usual the facilities were clean and everything worked. The location is central to everything Destin has to offer but we find ourselves at the beach all day. Site #53 was a little off level but nothing major. Love the privacy of the campsites. I'm giving this a 10 because if you know going in that you will not have sewer, cable or wifi then this park meets or exceeds all other expectations. We'll be back soon. We camped at Henderson Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Pickens Campground, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Loop A provided amazing beach access. I checked the restrooms and showers as clean as I say the crew making the rounds but the bath houses are very outdated (were supposed to be under a remodel while I was there) and the cleanliness deteriorates throughout the day. My spot (37) had no shade but others did. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Power and water worked fine and the dump station was convenient. One of the best beaches we have ever visited. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to the revamped bath houses for loop A. We camped at Fort Pickens Campground in a Travel Trailer.

French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

What a location. I walked everywhere (quarter, downtown, Dome, etc) even at night as there was a large event in town and there were lots of people out and about. Sites are great and all of the utilities worked just fine. The common areas and restrooms were kept clean. There is just some minor attention to detail that needs to be taken in a few of the restrooms but otherwise a great place to stop when visiting New Orleans and specifically the French Quarter. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $124.00
Overall Rating:

I thought the Fort was better than ever for this last trip. We stayed in a Premium loop this time and the extra space was worth the rate in my opinion. Also, the lack of the coquina bed kept the camper clean as the kids ran in and out. Close to every park and we enjoy the benefits of staying on the grounds. We will always be back to this park. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tallahassee RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here for a quick overnight stay and was very impressed with this campground. All hookups worked fine and the Wi-Fi worked for us just fine as well. Very easy off and back on I-10 and a short drive to everything in Tallahassee and right across the street from a Publix Grocery. The staff was very friendly and office hours were till 7 PM. The only drawback to be was that the sites were a little close. If you are staying for an extended amount of time you will really get to know your neighbors. Restroom facilities were spotless. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cajun RV Park, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park. Very convenient to Biloxi and Gulfport. Smooth check in. No pads but the site was level enough and easy to back in to. Cable worked just fine for us. The Wi-Fi worked great as well, and we were in the middle of the park. (previous posts mentioned having to be close to the office). Too cold to enjoy some of the amenities the park had to offer, though. We will be back for our trips to the Coast. Yes, there is a train. Yes it is loud, but it is gone before you know it. We camped at Cajun RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a great place to spend a weekend. The pool is unreal. I had heard a lot of great things about it, but it was better in person. We camped here with another group of campers, and it's the perfect place for that. We did not use the restroom facilities. Check in was busy (Friday afternoon) but organized. We will make multiple trips here each Summer. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
